Cb-2LT battery charger

Strengths: Just a single piece with nor wires. Works with S50 too. Good for world travel too.

Weakness: Difficult to use with a surge protector.

Just a single piece with no wires to worry about. Works with S50 too. Good for world travel too. Difficult to use with a surge protector or for power outlets which are cramped.

Canon CB-2LT Battery Charger

Strengths: Price - very inexpensive. Purchased through sterlingtek.

Weakness: Generic charger, not sure about long term battery affects if any

Very pleased with the purchase price and time to ship. I'm a little concerned about any possible long term affects on the battery as this was a generic charger, but overall, I am satisified.

Canon CB-2LT Battery Charger

Strengths: CHARGES ALL BATTERIES INCLUDING EXTENDED LIFE.

Weakness: NONE

I was looking for a compact light weight charger to supplement the charger which came with the Canon Elura 70. This charger is better for travel.

CB-2LT

Strengths: light, small, and charges batteries

Weakness: expensive.

It's a battery charger. What else can I say? I bought this for Canon optura 400 which doesn't come with a standalone battery charger which I think is very inconvenient. It's light and small. Plugs fold up for easier travelling. They only complain I have is that why would this thing cost $40?

Easy to use with simple indicator.

Strengths: Easy use. Small and compact for travel.

Weakness: Needs space to plug in. Not convenient with surge protectors.

I got this charger for the battery with my Canon S30. It is very easy to use. You just stick the battery in and the LED will show red for not fully charged. When it's green, the battery is ready to go. Initially, a full charge took 1-2 hours but later on in a year or two, charging took 3-4. This is probably due to the battery itself and not the charger.

What's nice about the charger is that the batteries for more updated versions of the Canon S30 series are the same. If you upgrade your camera within that series, it will likely use the same size battery and therefore, you'll have a spare charger for charging multiple batteries at a time or for use when traveling.

The outlet prongs fold in and out of the charger to save space for packing which is nice. However, it is not always convenient for plugging into a surge protector. I don't have any wall outlet jacks free so I run an extension cord from my surge protector and just plug non everyday objects into and out of it as needed (battery chargers, irons, etc.).

I like Canon products and they were smart to make them use the same batteries and chargers. This makes old equipment less obsolete and reusable. I'd recommmend this as a good solution for a good product.

Canon CB-2LT Battery Charger

Strengths: it is easy to use on the go or somewhere not convenient using cord. It is dedicated to the nb-2hl and nb-2l battery. Only 2h can charge fully. It is great.

Weakness: none

I buy it for my canon s50 digital camera. I find it is very cute to be used without cord. The power is enough to charge the nb-2l battery although it is mainly designed for the nb-2hl battery that the capacity is 30% higher than nb-2l. It takes 1-2h to fully charge the battery. I highly recommend this.
