Strengths: The enclosure is made out of aluminium, the included backup software is extremely user-friendly.

Weakness: No data compression in the particular version of included backup software, the hard disk drive that is inside the enclosure is the cheapest model (WD800BB) that is available from WD.

I was given the task (by some other person) to find the cheapest and easiest off-site backup solution (for making a full system backup of a single PC) and after reviewing various solutions from several manufacturers, I think I have found what I was looking for. The overall cost of this system is pretty acceptable considering that you're getting a nice enclosure, a 80GB HDD and a full version of backup software (with a separate bootable recovery CD included) and the included software is extremely easy to use - once you install it and do the initial backup, the software can automatically initiate the full backup of your system as soon as it detects that you have connected this drive to your PC, perfect for any person who is either too lazy or too forgetful to manually initialize the backup procedure by clicking certain button combination. There are few drawbacks with this system (as I have mentioned before) but the positive features (the price and the ease of use) outweighed all of them for me.
