Official AVP ball

Strengths: feel, visibility

Weakness: a bit too light

Finally broke down and picked up this outdoor ball. I’ve been plagued for years playing with the egg Top Flight ball. Never could keep one round for more than a season or so. This ball has been great. Good feel and durable. The only thing I had to get used to was that it’s lighter than the old Top Flights so you have to make slight adjustments when digging it or it will fly even if you’re a bit off center. No wonder the pros can bang the heck out of this ball.

great indoor intermediate / tournament ball

Strengths: beach volleyball, great exterior and official ball.

Weakness: gets dirty quick!

This ball is perfect for all beach volleyball tournaments and leagues, both indoor and out. It's official size and weight. Don't confuse this with an indoor ball (they are different). Write your name on it so others don't try the switch with the non-offical Wilson AVP ball.

fun in the sun

Strengths: high-quality build, wilson brand, avp certified, soft-touch, and pretty

Weakness: maybe a little too light, especially on a windy beach

I played this ball and its replicas and other brands. The official avp volleyball by wilson is by far the best that I can say.

The weight is perfect for a light-winded day on the beach. You can easily serve a floating ball with this but hard to serve a fast ball because it is light, unlike the indoor use. It is also soft-touch so it has better control. and it is official play ball certified by avp.

It adds more fun to the game because the ball is a bit slower than in door, so are players moving in the sand.

The ball is pretty too, simple, elegant, and pretty.

The only drawback is its light weight. Therefore in a windy day, the ball is sort of un-predictable, which adds more fun if thinking positively.

Great beach volleyball

Strengths: Excellent ball. One of the best beach balls you can find

Weakness: none

This ball is for outdoor play, like on the beach. It is not an indoor ball, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not it. It is an excellent volleyball for beach play- or outdoor play. If you need a ball for the beach, this is the one to buy.

Wilson volleyball

Strengths: light , weather proof

Weakness: slipppery sometimes, color is not necessary

I have used this product for a few years now. The only real problem with the wilson volleyballs is that they change the style every so often according to avp tour contracts. This product is good because it does not soak up the sweat like the old wilsons did. overall it is a good product.
