Toshiba SD1700 DVD-Video PlayerStrengths: Lots of capabilities; relatively easy to use; nice looks Weakness: Player locked up often when new; now working OK We really loved this player when we first got it. Toshiba SD1700 DVD-Video Player
Strengths: It was Fine all around for 120 days..then..
Weakness: Sound Quit after 120 days. It was a referbished with a 90 day warrenty.
I have 4 Toshiba TV's 2 VCR's, So when it was time for a DVD I bought Toshiba. Bought a referbished from UBid. Yes I know its taking a bit of a chance and this time I lost.
What good is a 120 day old DVD player with no sound? It goes in the trash. Why pay $50 to have it looked at. Just buy another. I'll probably buy another and take my chances again/.
