Generic Battery

Strengths: As good as the brand one, easy installation

Weakness: The cover of the battery fallen apart when arrived

I have bought a generic battery to replace my 3 years old battery for my APC UPS, it works just fine with the unit. No more beeping sound from the UPS to remind me to change the battery. It has a better backup time than my original one.
The only complaint I have is that the top cover of the battery fallen apart when it arrived, but that is not a big deal, it does not affect the performance of the battery.

Strengths: Easy to install

Changing the battery is simple and requires any screwdriver. You should find the location of the nearest lead-acid battery recycling station (or you can ship it back to the manufacturer.)

Great Battery

Strengths: Just as good as the original.

Weakness: None

I am using this battery to replace the original one that exceeded it's life. I am using this replacement battery in an APC Back UPS 500. All I had to do was slide the back off and remove the old battery and connect the new one and slide the cover back on and I was back online! The battery is bit expensive, I paid $35.00, but it worked great for the replacement battery for an older model UPS. I would either buy this again or just replace my UPS with a new one.

Good Battery, Bad Service

Strengths: Battery worked as advertised, just as good as the original, plus a better warranty.

Weakness: The APC brand one comes with free shiping for recycling, THIS ONE DOES NOT. Unforgivable.

In this day and age, you shouldn't be allowed to get away with being a company without a conscience. ABC is one such company. It's worth the extra $3 for the hassle free recycling that APC provides. Good product, but customer service like this is unforgivable, I will not be reccomending this battery to anyone, nor will I be purchasing anymore for my company.

APC Battery Replacement

Strengths: Easy installation

Weakness: None.

This is the third such battery that I have had in my UPS. I don't know if it is the UPS or the battery, but the battery seems to need replacement every 2-3 years. Other than that, the battery works great.

This generic version of the RBC2 works just as good as the original, at a MUCH LOWER COST!

The transaction with the vendor was simple and efficient. And the product arrived before it was expected to.
