Orange Micro iBOT Webcam - White BlueStrengths: When it works, it provides good video. Weakness: No built in mic. Unstable at best. I bought the Web Cam in the PC-Firewire Kit, which included a 1394 card. Thus far, the longest I've managed to stay on line was for 3 minutes using ICU III. Using MSN Messenger, I top out at about 30 seconds, at which point my computer freezes. Talking with Orange-Micro Tech support, though responsive, has been futile. Orange Micro iBOT Webcam - White Blue
Strengths: Cool design. Crisp pictures: very good sensor (CCD) and no compression between the webcam and computer, thanks to FireWire (unlike USB webcams)
Weakness: no built-in microphone.
Works like a charm on my Mac with iSpQ VideoChat. Both on OS 9 and OS X (thanks to the new driver compatible with OS X 10.2 jaguar)
