Olympus E-410 Digital Camera

Strengths: Versatility, outstanding pictures,Olympus name, software, Olympus Online Customer Service

Weakness: need flash accessory to compenate for dark indoor photos even when using a high iso. Ordered the FL-36 as an addition to the system.

I've been using my E-410 since purchasing it in St. Thomas during the summer....I use it professionally for magazine articles. Very lightweight with automatic and manual overides. Fantastic Lenses. The E-410 is comparable to many cameras costing more. A wonderful addition for any novice or professional photographer.

A true novice

Strengths: ease of use

Weakness: I dont want to put it down

I have been the owner of a e410 for a few months now. I drive everyone crazy with it. But when I show off the pictures I have produced with it, there are compliments galore. I have a lot to learn, but this camera makes it easy and fun. I make a lot of mistakes, but thats the beauty of digital cameras, poof the unwanted are gone.

Olympus EVOLT E-410

Small and appealing, the Olympus E-410 brings memories of days gone by, when SLRs were small, mechanical, and manual. But the E-410 is capable of both full auto and manual, and its 10 megapixel Live MOS sensor and optical design are quite advanced. The E-410's 14-42mm lens is sharper than the average consumer digital SLR, and it's just a little smaller, too. Its specially designed sensor is...

Olympus E-410 Review

The Olympus E-410 is a 10 megapixel DSLR camera based on the Four Thirds standard. Marketed as the ultimate 'travel' DSLR, the E-410 weighs just 375 g (body only) and a measures 129.5 x 91 x 53 mm. The Olympus E410 features Live Preview, which allows you to frame the shot through the camera's 2.5 inch LCD screen, in addition to using the more traditional optical viewfinder. The Olympus E-410 also...

DCRP Review: Olympus EVOLT E-410

The Olympus EVOLT E-410 is the smallest digital SLR on the market. Designed as a "step up" for point-and-shoot camera users, the E-410 features a live view LCD, plenty of scene modes, and a relatively easy-to-use interface. The camera has some hits and some misses, and it's at its best when you tweak the settings a bit. Once you've done that you'll find a camera that holds up well against the...

Camera Labs – Olympus EVOLT E-410 review

Ultimately if stabilised optics aren’t a priority, the E-410 is a great choice. The body is extremely portable without compromising handling or comfort, the control system quick and easy to use, the SSWF filter remains the best around, and the Live View facility is both fun and useful. As such we can Highly Recommend the E-410 to anyone who wants a small and light DSLR, although we’d advise...
