Good system, but buy more memory!Strengths: connects to internet well out of the box, easy to set up and run, great price Weakness: not enough memory. you'll have to add 1GB of RAM to have this system run well Computer ran dog slow, even without Norton AV installed. The base system has only 512 MB and Vista takes up 574MB!! which means it's doing a lot of disk writes to cache things. I installed 1.5 GB and it was a different system, running very well/fast as you'd expect from the processor speed. Caution: Kingston memory works on this thing, but Samsung memory didn't. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Needs more memoryStrengths: Sturdy at first, good for price Weakness: falls apart after a while, noisy, needs more memory I've had the computer for the past 3 and a half years. When i first bought it, i knew nothing about computers. I think i was lucky with getting this. I wouldn't suggest anyone to buy it, but if you do: get at least another gig of ram. Fits the bill
Strengths: Low noise, seems reliable and sturdy, looks good
Weakness: Needs more memory, preloaded software is a drag
I bought this computer because, I needed one for basic needs and my current one died. So, I was looking for a reliable one and did not want to spend a lot of money. This machine fit the bill.
After I bought it home, I noticed it is very slow... Because I know about computers, I started looking to see what is taking up all the resources. The culprit is Norton AV. Once I figured out how to remove it (the default remove program will throw errors and you have to download a removal tool from symantec!), it works great.
Remember though I use it mostly for basic purposes, browsing connecting to work, various IM/Chat programs. I think I can get some more performance if I do start doing something fancy on this by upgrading RAM.
If you don't play video games or do lots of photo/video editing, this system fits the bill (economically and performance wise).
