DeWalt DC988 Heavy Duty XRP 1/2 18V Cordless...Strengths: HAS ALOT OF POWER FOR OUR EVERYDAY USES OUT ON THE FLOOR, OUR MAINTANENCE DEPARTMENT SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THIS PRODUCT FOR THAT REASON Weakness: REALLY HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING SO I WILL GO WITH THE MOST COMMON , PRICE OVERALL WE ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT FROM THE PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY STAND POINT. WE NEED EQUIPMENT THAT IS VERY DEPENDABLE IN OUR MANUFACTURING FACILITY TO KEEP THE WORKFLOW MOVING OUT THE DOOR, AND THIS PRODUCT HELPS US ACHIEVE THAT GOAL. DeWalt DC988B 18v. XRP Cordless 3-Speed 1/2 Hammer...
Strengths: Fantastic quallity - it does the job in half the time of other brands, ie. Black & Decker - I like it better than Makita
Weakness: I broke the handle part doing a tough job and can't repair the handle - love the brand and wish it was still under warranty.
I have the DeWalt Cordless 3-speed Drill/Driver right now and think it is one of the best drills on the market. I work for a Holiday Inn in maintenance and I highly recommend that all of my workers use the same brand. Now, that I am purchasing a new one, I want the one with the hammer capabilities too!
