Great

Strengths: Clear audio, light weight, clear voice.

Weakness: Needs a earhook, lost my first one had to buy another.

Earhooks are cheaper at the Samsung Website. $1.98 each.
Free shipping can't beat it. This is a great ear headset but easily lost especially when you have long hair and play or comb your hair during the day.

Samsung WEP200 Bluetooth Headset - White Review

Strengths: Ultra small and portable, barely feel it in your ear with the right sized earhook. Long battery life!

Weakness: Too small to notice it falling out of your ear if not careful. Not as well in the wind

I have been using this headset for the past week and have been using it in various situations: In office, driving, walking outside, and indoors in general. With the exception of loud venues and windy situations, the headset performed flawlessly. One thing you do want to be on the lookouts are the fake ones. Plenty of those, I was fortunate enough to get the real thing the first time around, but others are not so lucky!

Nice little headset

Strengths: Strong reception, loud, tiny, lightweight

Weakness: Won't fit all ears, can accidentally disconnect callers, easy to lose!

I have (had!) the black model WEP200, and liked it a lot. It has good range away from the phone, is loud enough to hear in a windy or noisy environment and is so small you can forget it's on your head. Sound quality is pretty clear in your ear and decent, if not amazing, to your callers. It looks cool, too, a lot less obtrusive than your average Motorola or Plantronics.

The few drawbacks are that if you have big ears (and by that I mean large ear openings, not floppy ears), it will feel loose and may wobble. I solved this by buying a $5.00 4-pack of foam earbud covers from Radio Shack and putting one over my WEP200's rubber earpiece; the extra snugness keeps the headset in my ear better. If you wear the WEP200 a lot and happen to eat with it on (hey, people do these things), your jaw movement may make it fall out. Also, adjusting the headset while on a call will be at your risk. You may accidentally press the big function button on the top and hang up on your caller. But these are minor complaints.

Other notes: it holds a charge for several days if you use it occasionally, and up to a week if you don't; it recharges quickly and comes with a nice rounded case/charger, and it fits into any pocket. I recommend this headset.

Samsung WEP-200w

Strengths: Good clarity, small, light, long talk time

Weakness: Sometimes feels like it will fall out, picks up background noises

Overall, very happy with this purchase. It's small, feels durable, and makes calling handsfree a breeze. Only complaint is that sometimes it feels as if it will fall out of my ear. I'm glad it doesn't have an ear hook like my last bluetooth, which would get uncomfortable after a few hours of use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small, inexpensive, stylish bluetooth headset.

Cute Ear Piece

Strengths: Small size, clear reception, comes with a nice box for carrying and charging

Weakness: falls off the ear

For the price this is a very sophisticated looking bluetooth device. The only problem I have with it is that my ear does not seem suited to this kind of earpiece. The hook type stays put much better than the one on this device. But if I just sit around or not walk too vigorously, the ear piece stays put. I especially like the color and the convenient little box that comes with it!

Great Bluetooth headset for the price

Strengths: Size, weight, range, durability

Weakness: Bright LED, earpiece will not work for some

This is probably the best bluetooth headset for the $40 price range. I had a Plantronics Explorer 320 headset before that sucked. It kept disconnecting and the earpiece fell apart after 1 year. The WEP200 has better range and less disconnections compared to the 320.

This little thing is very durable. It was put into the wash machine and still worked after it dried.

I bought 4 from originalwireless (buy 3 & get free shipping) and datavis and have been happy with both. originalwireless was a little faster at shipping.

great btooth headset

Strengths: size and weight are great. cost at amazon is approx $30. works clearly and decent range.

Weakness: has 3 sizes for ear plugs (no over ear hooks). if one doesnt fit, you are out of luck. works for both my wife and I. charger is a bit annoying

Love this thing so far. Sounds clear on both ends, has decent range. Cost is inexpensive considering size and weight, which are small and light. it fits right in my ear with no hooks and actually stays in. be careful to order from reputable places as there are fakes out there.

Great small headset

Strengths: Small, light, clear transmission of sound both ways

Weakness: Feels a bit weird on the ear sometimes

For about 25 bucks on line, it's a great deal! I didn't have problems with the microphone not working anymore like the last reviewer.

I like how small and light the headset is, although without the earhook (which is sold separately, I think), it feels like it'll fall out. However, since it's really light, it stays in pretty well.

The sound transmitted was pretty clear both ways, although when I use it to call, people tell me I sound different. They said it wasn't different in a bad way, just different. It's probably due to the higher amplification levels required from having the headset so small.

All in all, a great purchase. I have heard that there are quite a few clones of this headset, so watch out about those! Make sure the instruction manual is bound-not stapled, and make sure that it doesn't include the ear hook. I hear that those two things are the best ways to spot a clone.

Almost there...

Strengths: Small! Light!

Weakness: Charger case and production quality

Fair for the price, given you didn't fork over more than $25.
Only in my unit, the microphone went out.
Just the microphone, incoming was fine, outgoing gone.

Curious to what went wrong, I opened the case to find the rechargeable lithium battery dislogged from its 'sticky pad.
The weight of the battery, by far the majority of the entire unit, coming lose dislodged what I presume is the microphone amplifier SMT 'chip'

Re-soldered took some fine tools but it worked.
