Gitzo GT2530Strengths: Solid construction; ease of use; let's you remove center column so you can get real low; Weakness: None found in product itself. However, user manual contains picures only and is not easy to understand. Love this tripod! It's really easy to set up and to take down. The center column can be adjusted downward or upward to allow for certain pictures; and the center column is removable to enable you to get low down. Very solid construction and lightweight. Strengths: Lightweight, Sturdy, ease of use.
Weakness: Cost
This is a very nice sturdy rigid, lightweight tripod. Easy to setup, by its non-rotation legs they added to this series or tripods. Tripod is very rigid and sturdy preventing any vibration when camera and lens are attached.
Tripod is also a very lightweight hiking pod. Easy to carry around all day long...
