GREAT MICROWAVE OVEN

Strengths: so many good controls, stainless steel interior, gives a feeling of strength and security

Weakness: none that I have found

This is a solid, no-nonsense microwave oven, with lots of features, easy to use control guide panel, easy to clean and it does not absorbe orders, which my old oven did all the time.

warning: save your money

Strengths: stainless steel is the best part of this microwave.

Weakness: Made in China, the same machine as Emerson which is only 1/3 the cost ($50.00), just not stainless.

Save your money if your planning to buy China made.
Try Sharp which is not all made in China.
It set a fire from using a paper plate as it burns bigtime
in the center of the cooking area. This is the same as
all the China made micros that we have tried which we have
now tried several.

Very Good Microwave

Strengths: Stainless steel interior, 1000 watts.

Weakness: the back wires are not hidden very well

It's a good microwave machine. I primarily use it to reheat food. It does a very good job. Covered with stainless steel, it looks beautiful as well.

Worried it is going to catch on fire

Strengths: Fast, powerful, easy to clean, attractive.

Weakness: Has started to make a buzzing and popping sound in the electrical housing only 6 months after purchase.

I received this microwave as a wedding gift in December 2007 and loved it right away. It felt solid, cooked fast, and was easy to clean; everything you would ever want. The problem is that about 2 weeks ago it started to make a buzzing and popping sound in the electrical housing. Even when I unplugged it the sound would continue for another 5-10 seconds and the sound was loud enough to hear from 6 or 7 ft away. I now keep it unplugged until I need to use it and I am going this weekend to return it.
