Disappointed

Strengths: Great sound quality, fits in ears well, comfortable.

Weakness: Sound hollow at first, breaks easily and quick.

For about the first month or two when I had these earphones, I was very impressed. Soon after that however it began to fall apart. Every time I took it out of my ears part of it would come of partially, but that was alright, I just had to push it back in. But then it came all the way off, and when I tried to push it back in as usual it broke. Now the wire on the other ear is broken as well.
I did not throw my earphones around, or be rough with them. They broke from simple everyday use in as little as three months. I'm disappointed.

EP-630

Strengths: Great sound quality, noise isolation really works, good price

Weakness: not white for ipod

Bought EP-630 for few days and I really like it. The noise isolation really works. I can enjoy music on streets or my office with low volume. I figured it's good for my ears. For the low price tag, it is really a good buy.

Great Earphones

Strengths: Great sound and quality. Comfortable

Weakness: No Case

These earphones fit comfortably in your ears for extended periods of time. The sound is great, although i have not tested it yet while flying on a plane. I have these to replace the earphones that come with the Ipod. There are three adjustable earbud sizes that come in the package. Overall a good buy for EP earphones with an affordable price.

Outstanding quality - by far best value

Strengths: Rich sound 3 Sizes of ear plugs Soft cord

Weakness: Needs more bass if you want to have subwoofer sound

Like many of you, I always used the headphones or earphones that came with my audio player. If they broke, I went to the local store and bought something simple (I don't want something too fancy) that looked about the same. Those new earphones sounded about the same and so everything was fine. I continued listening to music.

After a while, I began reading on the internet about these certain headphones, EP-630's being one of them, as having extraordinary sound and an amazing value. I still wondered what the difference would be; after all, they are earphones. You can't fit a 5 foot speaker inside a 4mm hole.

When I found a good deal on these, I decided to leap in and find out what everyone was talking about.

I will never go back again.

These headphones sound like a home theater system in your ear! Mind you, this is coming from a person that has listened to cheap headphones his whole life, but I think many of you are in the same boat as I am. I have a number of stereo and surround sound systems at home, but never upgraded my headphones for some reason. I guess I just didn't think they could really fit decent sound in something so small. This blew me away.

These earphones provide crisp, clear bass. The treble is not tinny like cheap earphones, but rather more balanced. These earphones cover the whole range- treble, midrange, and bass - fairly well.

The plugs seal your ear well, which helps with the sound quality. There aren't a lot of outside sounds coming in, and soundwaves stay in - which means you don't have to blast the volume just to listen to your music, which very much helps the quality.

They give you extra plugs (both bigger and smaller) in order to give you a perfect fit if these don't stay in.

The cord is soft and flows naturally with you, unlike some cheap earphones.

This may sound funny, but the plastic clear case it came in is durable enough that I use it to house my earphones when I throw it in my bag.

The quality of the sound is outstanding. For this price, it's worth trying. It's the best value for earphones on the market - similar ones range from $40 - $120. This is a great deal.

Don't wait. If you need new earphones, get this. You won't regret it.

Great Headphones for the Price

Strengths: Affordable; crisp, clear sound; not overly boomy

Weakness: Cord is a little long, easily tangles

I ordered these phones after my last pair of Sony's went belly-up. After looking around, I came across a number of comments indicating that these headphones were a great combination of price and performance--and they are!

The silicone plugs are very comfortable and keep the phones snugly in your ears (3 different-sized plugs are included for different-sized ears). The sound is very crisp and clear on the high end, and not too boomy on the bass end (a problem with my older Sony headphones).

My only complaint has to do with the cord. At 4 feet long, it's easy for it to get tangled (my other headphones have cords that are about 3 feet long). Also, the cord has a slightly "grippy" rubberized texture, which means that when it does get tangled, it's a little more difficult to untangle (it likes to "stick" to itself). Other than that, though, I'm very impressed and would recommend these phones to everyone.

amazing product, good quality

Strengths: definitely the best in-earphone with this price, and good quality. Fit in the ear good

Weakness: More cord noise from movement with cloths, wind

Considering the good quality and low price, I would definitely recommend this in-ear phone if some one is seeking a similar product. Fit into your ipod or mp3 and enjoy the amazing sounds!

Creative Labs in-ear EP-630

Strengths: Price; noise isolation; crisp sound

Weakness: Bass is weak; no case

For less than $30, what a bargain! Sound is crisp, but a bit thin. Bass is fairly weak. If you like lots of bass, this product probably isn't good enough for you.

EP-630 Earphones

Strengths: Acceptible sound, great price

Weakness: Insecure insertion

The EP-630s have an excellent price and fairly good sound, but they don't feel secure in my ears; while walking, I'm afraid they'll fall out. They haven't yet, but...

Best Headphones

Strengths: Great sound, Durable, Comfortable, Good Price

Weakness: None

These are the best headphone i have ever owned and they came with my Dell Computer about a year ago. The sound is great and the bass is just the right level in my opinion. I have absolutely no complaints about these headphones and plan on buying a new pair when my the ones i have eventually break, if they ever do.

Great ear buds for little money.

Strengths: For the money, you can't beat these ear buds. They do an amazing job of blocking external noise and the base response is impressive.

Weakness: none

I got a pair 2 years ago and loved them immediately. After my backpack was stolen a month ago, I purchased another pair of EP-630 ear buds.

Not bad

Strengths: Good sound quality for the price.

Weakness: looks flimsy. Bass is not the best I've seen. No volume control.

According to various claims, this Creative EP-630 is identical to Sennheiser CX3000. There are a lot of fake ones for these earphones, so be careful when you buy one.

I compared it against a few other earbuds:

Bass (in increasing order):
Shure E2C < Creative EP630 < Sony MDR-EX71 < Skullcandy FMJ 11mm

Treble/Cripness:
Skullcandy FMJ 11mm < Sony MDR-EX71 < Creative EP630 < Shure E2C

Confort:
Shure E2C < Skullcandy FMJ < Sony MDR-EX71 = Creative EP630

Volume (may be due to how old each one is):
Sony MDR-EX71 < Shure E2C < Skullcandy FMJ < Creative EP630

Good sound for a very reasonable price

Strengths: The sound quality is remarkably good, considering the price of these headphones. They are comfortable to the ear and come with different size earbud tips. Also they come with a carrying case.

Weakness: Perhaps not the choice for audiophiles, but very decent sound for the gym, etc.

I was so impressed with the sound for the price that I bought another pair for my son, who says that they are great at blocking outside noise while having very decent sound quality. The carrying case is very helpful for protection when tossing in my computer bag or my son's backpack.

Excelent inexpesnive headphones

Strengths: Price, comfort, Sound Quality, high volume output

Weakness: none

The issue with in ear and ear bud headphones, is that their quality is fully and completly dependent on wearign them correctly. If they are not in the right spot of your ear you lose most of the audio and you get poor sound.

Great Budget IEM

Strengths: Reasonable sound isolation, generally good sound quality, comes with earbuds in 3 sizes, comfortable to wear

Weakness: Somewhat lacking details in midrange and highs, doesn't come with pouch or case

I bought this pair of creative earphones, which is very similar to my Sennheiser cx300 except for the Y-cord design, which I personally like better.

As for sound quality, it lacks details that the more expensive CX300 has. It tends to just thump out bass strongly without outputting clarity in the highs.

It is comfortable to wear and I can listen to it for 1+ hr.
I wish that the cords don't tangle so badly or that they give us a case to store.

Good quality for low price

Strengths: great fit, light, sound blocking, decent bass

Weakness: very thin wire, tangle easily

These in-ear headphones make a great replacement for my iPod. They sound very good without having to spend a lot. I plan to use them for exercise, so I was searching for something small and light in an in-ear design that blocks some outside noise. These are great for that. The 3 included earpiece sizes make sure that they will fit anyone. I like these a lot and would buy again.

My only complaint is that the wires seem a bit thin and fragile and have that silicone sticky texture to the rubber so they tangle easily.

For the price tag, good headphones

Strengths: Affordable, nice design and color

Weakness: bass

I decided to purchase these in-ear headphones because i was looking for some affordable headphones that don't break the bank. Also, the headphones that came with my ipod don't stay in my ear and the ear covers wore out and kept falling off.

I like the design and the black color of the Creative EP-630. Overall, the sound was good. Some users stated they dislike the long cord, but i personally like having the long cord as it gives me some flexibility. This was a great purchase.

excellent highs, good mids, good bass

Strengths: amazing sound for the money

Weakness: bass may be slightly overpowering.

The sound quality for the money is pretty astounding. Very clear highs, great mids so that you can hear all the things your missing, solid bass. I found the bass to be slightly overpowering, but I also noticed if I really plug these in my ears I can hear my own pulse from my left ear, so that side has to be pulled slightly out. So after the first few days, because one side has to be slightly out, they're still a little uncomfortable but I think I'll grow to really like them.

Overall A Well Balanced Inexpensive IEM

Strengths: Very good price. Balanced highs, mids and lows. Very punchy bass. Reasonably comfortable, easy on and off.

Weakness: The high could be horrible when volume is 90% on my ipod nano, hope it'll get better after I burn it further. While bass is punchy for single beats, it'd sound murdy when too much lows at a time.

For the price (~$20) I pay, this is the best sound I could possibly get. So no regret. The plug could easily draw dust to itself, not a real big issue, but it just looks not as nice.

Creative EP-630 In-Ear Earphones

Strengths: Good price in this IEP category.

Weakness: Clear Highs, Low Distortion

I will probably purchase this product again, I know that there are better sounding IEP's out there but the price are more than $50.00. I am satisfied with this purchase.

EP-630

Strengths: Really block out outside noise

Weakness: cable too short

Cable could be at least 1.5x, or even 2x longer. Doing a really good job blocking noise. I use mostly in library when studying, I cannot hear my friends talking which is awesome. Sound quality is really clear. great buy.

Creative EP 630

Strengths: Great build quality, good audio fidelity, very comfortable, moderately priced.

After being frustrated with the build quality on my previous earbuds I decided to try something new. I settled on the Creative EP 630s. The build quality is excellent and they still sound great. The most important feature to me was the comfort they provide though. I've tried earbuds from many different manufacturers and the Creative 630s are hands down the most comfortable pair I have ever tried. Because they are such a snug fit, they are excellent and blocking out outside noise. It is worth noting that Creative includes three different sized earbuds to accommodate different sized ear canals so it should be easy to find one that fits you.

Big improvement over iPod earbuds

Strengths: Price, sound quality, noise isolation, Very comfortable, adjustable fit with 3 different size bud covers.

Weakness: Some slight cord noise from clothes, wind etc.

I purchased these to replace my stock iPod video earbuds and have been quite pleased. They are an outstanding value for the money. Best earbuds in $30 price range. These earbuds are amazing! Small, comfortable, remarkably good sound.

Good, low cost option

Strengths: price, decent "noise isolation," fair sound quality, comfort

Weakness: uninsulated cord, no "extras"

These are the "cheap" version of the Sennheiser CX300. There have been many comparisons. I would not say there is a significant difference between the two (to justify such a price difference). As noted, the uninsulated cord creates unwanted sound through contact with clothes, etc. I bought these mainly for traveling (for long flights) and they perform well for that purpose. I would not recommend for exercising with however.

Awesome!

Strengths: Excellent full-range sound, price, isolation from external noise, adaptable ear pieces

Weakness: None so far

These things just rock. I've never had a pair of headphones so small with such great bass, not to mention the rest of the frequency spectrum. As soon as I put them on and started listening to music, I heard things that I'd never heard before. I highly recommend these and am about to buy another pair as a gift.

Impressive Headphones

Strengths: Great sound. Not very expensive.

Weakness: Considerable more cord noise from movement (clothes, wind, etc.). Not sure why. This is the only real con

Good for the price. Really nice bass and treble. It is quite loud compared to the ipod buds. You just need to pick the right size of ear buds that fits your ear for a great sound.

Creative EP-630 (black)

THE GOOD: The Creative EP-630 earphones are compact, comfortable, and relatively stylish, coming in a choice of five shimmery colors. They offer a reasonable amount of passive noise isolation and solid sound quality for the money. THE BAD: The Creative EP-630 earphones are slightly lacking in bass for some songs, and they feel cheaply constructed, which raises concern for durability. THE BOTTOM...

Creative Labs EP-630

Heralded by the headphone enthusiast community as the KSC75 of ear buds, the Creative Labs EP-630 is a cheap replacement for stock earbuds or entry-level headphones. Spawned from the Sennheiser CX300, a popular ear bud that costs 3-5 times as much, the EP-630 is a diamond in the ruff. While it can not compete with higher quality buds or canalphones, it does represent an amazing value for the...
