Don't waste money on high priced HDMI cablesStrengths: Quality, Price Weakness: None With HDMI connections you don't need to spend alot of money for "high performance" cables. HDMI passes digital signals which will either pass through the cable or not. OK?Strengths: ? Weakness: ? Hard to comment because I've had some issues. I got a new Olevia HD tv and a new HD Cable Box at the same time I got the HDMI cable so it's hard for me to tell where the issue is. I've tried all the components separately with my other HD tv's and receivers and they all seem to work but something misfires when I put them all together. Extremely cheap and at the same time flawless HDMI...Strengths: does its job well Weakness: none I find it ridiculous that some people charge more than $20 for simple cables that transmit a digital information. Unlike audio signal, digital signal doesn't deteriorate so easily with noise, and what you send on one side is what you get on the other side. Any cable whatsoever does the job. Great price point - High Quality CableStrengths: Product description met. Audio/Video in one cable. Only able to test Dolby Digital, DTS and PLII as my sound field is 5.1. Weakness: none to mention Ferrites were not at the cable head, but about 1 inch from connector. I was concern with the bulk or inflexible cable near the connector loosing the ability to dress the cable when installed. Not a problem. Glad I selected this item. GreatStrengths: Great price and it works great. Weakness: None Bought this cord just to hook up my LCD HDTV up to my laptop in order to watch movies off of iTunes on the big screen. What a deal!Strengths: Great Quality Cables Weakness: None I have seen similar cables advertised for much more. These cables are the perfect size. Great bargainStrengths: Price - can't be beat. Does the job. Weakness: none I've seen HDMI cables going for $80+. Don't waste your cash. Digital is digital. If you get a picture through a set of HDMI cables you're good to go. No need to spend big bucks on "brand name" cables. A $10 set delivers the same picture quality as a set costing $50. Great Cable alternative to high priced store optionStrengths: Works the same as any other HDMI Weakness: None I can think of I was going to buy one of these from the store to go with the new DVD player I bought. Then I thought I would check pricegrabber.com and I am very glad I did. Buying a "generic" cable works fine and I hide them behind the TV, so no one even knows the difference anyway. Overall, buy these and at least try them before spending $35+ on a store brand cable... I had no problems, but if you still wanna spend more, you're only out around $5-$8. Excellent HDMI cables at an excellent priceStrengths: Price, solid contacts, sturdy construction. Weakness: None. These cables are an incredible value compared to other high-priced cables. I have been very pleased with their performance as well as the money I saved. There is absolutely no need to spend 5-10 times more on cables because of a higher profile brand name. HD CordsStrengths: We were going to buy a very expensive cord but read that this inexpensive cord would do the trick. We saved a lot of money. Weakness: We ordered 3 cords to ensure that we had enough and 1 did not work. They were so inexpensive though that it is not even worth it to send it back. We used the cable to hook up our HDTV to the HD PS3 and were skepticle that an inexpensive cord would do the trick. We were told we needed the $80-100 cord. Also the 6ft length is optimal to decrease wire tangles when all components are in same area. This is a great cable if having to go through multiple connections before reaching the display, much less distortions. Bought extra and will give them to family to use. There is a HUGE difference
Strengths: Easy to setup; plug and play; well constructed
Weakness: none !
I was skeptical at first, how can a "single" cable replace five beefy 10' component cables (what the so-called professionals use) and offer superior performance? First step; I just removed 50 feet of unneccessary cable! Replace with this simple hookup; and all I can say is WOW, this product / technology really delivers on its promise. Just when I thought my HDTV could not be any better! Since I just upgraded my cable box to the SA4250HD with HDMI capability, it was time to "experiment." This cable was the best investment I have made since the purchase of my HDTV. You will not be disappointed!
