Nice unitStrengths: Variable settings. Cooks crisp waffles. Weakness: Teflon coating may peel prematurely This is my third unit. The first was replaced under warranty after the teflon coating began to peel. The third I bought outright after the second one was no longer usable after about two years. This waffle maker bakes the best waffles I've eaten, not too thick like the belgian variety (yes, this is a personal preference). Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? TopAdvertisement

Strengths: Compact, can be stored standing on edge, adjustable "doneness" control, readiness indicator lights
Weakness: Thin coating of teflon on griddle plates
This worked well the first time we used it. But after that, waffles began to stick severely. We found that we must brush oil onto both upper and lower plates to get waffles to release well when they are done. It's a nuisance, but it seems to be the only way.
