KitchenAid Mixer Ice Cream Attachment for MizerStrengths: Fits well on mixer Weakness: The directions in the instruction booklet were ahrd to follow This is a good item. My first ice cream batch was really tasty but it did not freeze in the attachment bowl as indicated becasue I followed the directions and only let it mixer for twenty minutes instead of until I heard the clicking noise, meaning that it was getting thicker. My following batches have come out great. Be patient and don't make it the first time when you have company, for you need to let it freeze in the freezer for a time if you are making a fruit ice cream. 100% of readers found this review helpful. KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment
Store-bought can never compare to the fresh and creamy taste and texture of homemade ice cream. Other than the necessary advanced planning, the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker is the easiest ice cream maker you'll ever use. If you already own a KitchenAid Stand Mixer (it fits most models), you owe it to yourself to get this attachment. TopAdvertisement

KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment
Strengths: I like getting more use out of my KitchenAid stand mixer and being able to serve guests delicious, homemade ice cream!
Weakness: Takes up room in the freezer. Price is a bit expensive.
This attachment is very easy to use. Make sure to read the manual first since there are certain instructions that need to be followed, such as turning the machine on before pouring in the ice cream batter and using a rubber spatula so as not to scratch the inside of the ice cream maker. It also helps keep the ingredients cold during the 30-minute mixing process if you wrap plastic wrap around the top of the mixer and bowl to help insulate it and keep the cold air from escaping. Freeze the ice cream overnight if you want it to be hard and scoopable.
