APC usb notebook standStrengths: - Great design - Lightweight - rollers on base for maneuverability - extra USB ports to expand your notebook - height adjustable Weakness: -- Stand doesn't go as high as I would like it to. The base could use an extra 3 inches of height. - Notebook isn't very securely latched into/onto the stand. This is a very good product. I looked at MANY reviews of notebook stands for my HP dv1000 notebook computer, and this was the one with the best combination of glowing reviews, strong features, and moderate price. I don't regret the purchase. 93% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

APC (American Power Conversion) Desktop Notebook...Strengths: Ease of operation, well designed & especially like the swivel capability. Also raising the computer off of the desk/table is a great feature so as to allow air circulation. Weakness: For a 17" notebook computer, the stand is a bit narrow; although I've had no problems, I do stay alert and cautious. This stand is a very useful design with ample USB connections. The various heigth settings are a bonus. Also the swivel design permits moniter viewing by everyone sitting around the desk/table. 92% of readers found this review helpful. Jun 12, 2005 Good review. Bought one from Buy.com today (6/12/05) as they have lowest price ($61.06) as of 6/12/05 with no tax & free shipping. Officemax has it for $79 plus tax. Can't wait to try this item out & write a Pricegrabber.com review! (will be my first review at Pricegrabber). ;)

APC (American Power Conversion) Desktop Notebook...Strengths: If you spend a lot of time using your laptop, this raises laptop screen to proper height for ergonomic ease. Bonus is USB hook up. Adjustable height, swivel base, lots of +++. Weakness: An almost flawless design! I will be using it at home and not transporting to the office. It folds flat, but is a bit bulky for travel. I use desktop computer at the office. I needed an ergonomic set up for my laptop at home and did the research for a notebook stand. The APC with USB connections is the WINNER. It has an elegant sleek and functional design and actually takes up less space on my desk than my Toshiba Satellite. My computer screen is now positioned at head height (better than that old cigar box I was using *L*) and I can actually use my tilted computer as a copy holder - don't even have to turn my head to read. Of course you will need a separate keyboard, but I had that anyway. The design raised level from desktop allows for aircooling beneath the computer. I figured a company like American Power Conversion (APC) would understand how to set up the USB, as thats what they do!Three clicks and I was ready to work...snap in power supply, connect cable to stand and computer, adjust the tilt. BAM! ready to go. Can you tell I like this APC Stand?? So So pleased ;) 89% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Like having & using a desktop computer..Strengths: 1. Adjustable height, swivel settings to your eye level; 2. Doesn't sit right on table like some notebook stands; this stand elevates the computer to allow the computer to cool. 3. 4 USB Ports! Weakness: none so far Using a/this notebook stand is very practical as it allows your notebook computer to cool properly, allows you to use your computer like a desktop at an appropriate eye level, and is much cheaper than buying a manufacturer's expensive docking station. The external USB ports are a big plus too, as you can hook up your printer, external keyboard, and external mouse so that you can use your notebook computer like a desktop. I was going to buy an external monitor to hook up to my notebook, in order to get the desktop like functionality, like my friend did, but you can do the same thing with this notebook stand. This stand also appears well made. A notebook stand with an external keyboard also saves wear & tear off your notebook computer's own keyboard and the letters wearing off etc. The comparable Kensington stand covers up the notebook keyboard & other buttons, this stand does not which I like better. My 15.4" 6.2lb Toshiba Satellite M35-S359 notebook computer fits well on this stand. 83% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The best notebook stand out there!Strengths: Raises laptop to eyelevel, 4 USB ports, Increased air flow, Small wheels, Light and sturdy. Weakness: None so far I am currently running HP DV9500t 17” wide screen laptop and it fits perfectly on this stand. Laptop is sitting very sturdy with no wobbling or shaking. Unique front handle provides easy access to headphone and other plugs in the front. This simple design is both a life and a space saver, making work on the laptop more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this stand to anybody who has the laptop. It worth every penny, go ahead and buy it! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

APC (American Power Conversion) Desktop Notebook...
Strengths: lift a notebook computer to the eye level. 4 USB ports. takes less space than a laptop. cools a laptop.
Weakness: none so far
This is very good stand. I was thinking to get a Kensington stand, but finally got this one and no regrets. First, it has 4 height level settings to lift a notebook. Second, there are small wheels on the bottom so that it is easy to swivel. Third, it takes less desktop space than a laptop's footprint. Fourth, Built-in 4 USB port is really nice, two on the back and one on each side. Each port has a green light indicator to show it is functioning. It is convenient to access the ports on both sides. I have a Dell Inspiron 8600c and the stand works very well. Highly recommended!
