Strengths: Doesn't require batteries and doesn't make a lot of noise yet keeps child entertained with multiple sights, sounds, and textures.
Weakness: Not very portable and a little difficult to clean.
Even our 3 month old shows interest in the toy although it will be a few months before she can really take advantage of it at the recommended 6 months. Finally a toy that interests a child with bright colors and moving sounds WITHOUT BATTERIES! The sounds are not too loud of a distraction although some chimes would have been nice. It doesn't have any detachable parts so you don't have to worry about accidental swallowing or keeping track of pieces. It is fairly large and therefore not very portable but then again it wouldn't offer the variety of play in a smaller size. Unfortunately it recommends surface cleaning so you can't just dunk it into your sink for cleaning but it's not like you could do that with most other toys anyways. I would definitely recommend it although of course YMMV when it comes to whether or not it interests your child!
