Bully

Strengths: GTA-Style High School Antics - Graphics - Story - Voices

Weakness: Nothing Apparently

Obviously this game will be compared to GTA - since the same people made it. This is entirely fine, since that is basically what this game is - Grand Theft Auto at a boarding school. At times, it seems like the world is a lot larger than any GTA ever was. There is always something to do, and mini-games to play. It's hard to be bored playing this game.
On top of the great gameplay, the graphics are fun to look at and the voiceovers are awesome. A++

One of the best of 2006 for PS2!

Strengths: graphics, gameplay, story, dynamic story

Weakness: none

If you always wanted to be the bad kid in school and never got that chance... now you can. In Bully you choose to be good or be bad. Your actions will play out and affect the course of the game. Will you go against the "nerds?" Do you try and get with the girls on campus? It's all up to you. There is a depth of story and gameplay here. You'll start with a training mission where you get beat up to get you used to the controls. From there you are on your own and Bullworth Academy will be awaiting your arrival. Rockstar doesn't disappoint, so go out and get a copy of Bully and be the kid you weren't in school.

Bully: GTA For Kids

Strengths: variety of gameplay, depth, story,

Weakness: none

If you had a kid or a younger brother who was dying to play one of the past GTA game but couldn't due to the violence and language, Bully is a perfect game for them. Bully is basically a refined GTA game for the younger audience. Rockstar fix the fighting mechanics by applying the fighting mechanics from their previous game: The Warriors. So now there is more depth to fighting, instead of the same 2 or 3 moves over and over. If you enjoy the past GTA game, Bully should definitely hold you over until the next GTA comes out for the PS3/360---just don't expect a whole lot of over the top violence and language.

Rob some kids lunch money for this game!

Strengths: Great story. Neat little mini-games. Looks good and plays great.

Weakness: None.

Bully is a fantastic game from rockstar and takes an interesting twist on the school yard. You play a new student at a boarding school filled of bully's, misfits, and sycophants. You'll deal with mean teachers and meaner classmates. It's fun and also an interesting reflection of school life. There are mini-games to improve your abilities and you'll have a lot of great missions to participate as you make your way through the schools social structure. The voice acting is good and the writing excelent. Highly recommended.

Interesting Idea

Strengths: Good gameplay

Weakness: none

This is a very fun game, especially for Rockstar fans, it shows some similarities to the Grand Theft Auto's but not too much. Game can be played through multiple times so there's good replay value. Not a bad game to try out.

Bully - PS2

Strengths: Great humor, open-ended environment, good graphics

Weakness: None apparent

Bully takes the GTA-style gameplay and moves it to Bullworth Academy, a boarding school. Missions take place in the school and around on the grounds, with numerous characters to interact with around Bullworth. The graphics look great, the voice acting is very good, and the humor is hilarious. For GTA-fans that are looking for something different, this would be one to look over.

Got a lot of time to burn?

Strengths: Funny storyline and numerous side missions. Very smooth learning curve.

Weakness: Not very challenging when compared to previous Rockstar games.

After the marketing build up and personal anticipation I had for this game, I was not entirely satisfied. It is a fun way to burn numerous hours of my life, but it doesn't have the same return that games like GTA, Red Dead Revolver, and The Warriors had. The game play is simple, the missions are too easy and the story is mildly entertaining at best. If you are a fan of Rockstar, this game is worth playing, but don't expect it to blow you away.

Awesome Game

Strengths: Gameplay: solid gameplay from Rockstar. Story: Very funny

Weakness: None to speak of

Highly recommended game, a must for all ps2 owners. From the beginning to the end this game is thoroughly addictive. I am on my second play through right now and still enjoying every minute of it. The game reminds me of Grand Theft Auto, which is reflected in the gameplay of it. The game features tons of mini games, and the boss fights are also very engaging. The sense of humor and hours (around 40) of gameplay should keep you coming back to this one for a while

Fun for the whole school

Strengths: sense of humor, gameplay, graphics

Weakness: only a ps2 port

If you have played any of the GTA games, then you will have no problem picking up Bully from the beginning. Your world is Bullworth Academy and it is the same free roaming experience Rock Star is known for. The sense of humor of the game really stands out. Plan on spending hours completing missions and seeing what mischief you can create as you play Bully.

Another Great Game from Rockstar

Strengths: Enjoyable to play with humorous characters, good dialogue, funny storyline, an interesting setting, and great soundtrack. Teen rating for the kids will also be a plus for many.

Weakness: Not really a weakness for most, but some will wish it were more difficult/ challenging/ harder.

As Jimmy Hopkins, a 15 yr old troublemaker sent to Bullworth Academy (high scool boarding school), attending classes gets you all sorts of 'upgrades'. These will come in handy in completing your missions. The variety, as well as the characters, are very entertaining. From playing Dodge ball in PE class for increased accuracy, to the mini-lab you get for your bedroom for attending Chemistry class, theres plenty of fun and possibilities. Some of the characters actually reminded me of some of the students and school staff I knew (no I didn't go to a boarding school).
Although not as difficult as some games, and shorter than some others, the fast pace and variety makes it a notable and very worthwhile play. I highly recommend it and will be playing it for some time. Having experience with previous Rockstar games, I initially rushed through it in about 20-25 hrs (estimate). Since I skipped lots of side missions, hidden objects, and buying things on my first run through, I'll be spending lots more time exploring the features I missed. I'm glad I purchased this game and the positive feedback from friends who've picked it up convinces me the vast majority will feel the same.

Bully (PS2)

Strengths: Great graphics, like a realistic soap opera

Weakness: None worth mentioning

I have played many games that focus on human interactions and simulated settings. This game has the look and feel of a real school setting with enough intrigue and action to keep even heavy gamers engaged. I enjoyed the characters and the flow of action.

Bully

Strengths: Fun game, good graphics, good fighting mechanics, nice story

Weakness: Too much like Grand Theft Auto

Bully is definitely a fun title. You go around as the school Bully and can choose one of several paths. Go for the girls, taunt the geeks, etc. Go around the boarding school campus lets you explore different mission options as well as find hidden items. Unfortunately, I found this to be too much like Grand Theft Auto. As much as I enjoy GTA, I play it when I'm in the mood. When I'm in the modd to play something different, I don't want GTA in my face again. I did play through Bully and enjoyed it, but not without some grimmacing here and there.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that isn't sick and tired of the GTA play-style. There is too much to do and see and enjoy to just let it sit there on the shelf.

Canis Canem Edit is more suitable :-)

Strengths: Graphics, voice acting, story and freedom.

Weakness: none major weaknessess really.

Great game that I highly recommend; it really is like gta gone to school ( a horrible school mind you!). You will enjoy it. I swear. It isn't as gruesome as the old name made out.

Bully

Let’s face it, Rockstar isn’t known for lighthearted games or colorful platform games filled with cute critters. It’s known for its edgy, always controversial games that boil the blood of parents and members of Congress (see Grand Theft Auto). Therefore, when Bully was announced for the PlayStation 2, it already gained quite a name for itself and hailed as a twisted look at the unfortunate...
