Radar Detector XRS 9400CS review

Strengths: Easy to setup and very user friendly. Clear voice alert and able to detect strobe signal quite well.

Weakness: None so far.

This is my first online purchase from PriceGrabber and I received it within 2-3 days. I'm very satisfied with the device, reliable and user friendly. So far no complaint.

Cobra 11 Band Radar/Lasar Detector

Strengths: Very accurate! Saves me everytime!! I love the voice alert, i have had ones that don't alert you with an actually voice, its awesome! I love the pictures they are so easy to see with the ultra bright.

Weakness: I haven't found any!

I really love this radar detector, it has saved me at least 3 times a day. It rocks! Everyone should have one. The display is great and the voice alert is soo cool. Not only does it save you from speeding but it lets you know when an ambulance need to come through. It is very help for the parimedics i think!

Cobra 11 Band Radar/Lasar Detector

Strengths: Very good detection and nice voice quality from unit. Good volume control . No extra noise from false signals.

Weakness: None so far

Quality product at a fair price. Nice compact unit with easy adjustment bars. Easy to install with easy to read instructions. Setup was very fast and the Corbra has a sleek good looking housing.

Cobra 11 Band Radar/Lasar Detector

Strengths: Super fast shipment and delivery...prompt service.

I've had a cobra radar detector myself for almost three years now and love it, so I decided to get a newer version for a loved one for Christmas. Hopefully it performs as well for them as mine has over the years.

XRS 9400CS Cobra Radar Detector

Strengths: good signals, loud clear tones and voice, easy to read dispaly. Very resonable price.

Weakness: none so far

Have currently been using radar detector for 2 months using it in city traffic, state highway traffic and Interstate trafic conditions. Picks up signals accurately and alerts me in ample time. Voice and tones very good.

Really cheap and good~!

Strengths: Cheap!($59 in Ubid.com) High performance, looks good.

good radar detector

Strengths: adjustable voice alert loud and clear, price

Weakness: none

i like this radar detector, the voice is clean and not too loud. The first warning is load enough and the volume decreases, but clear. It looks great too. The only thing I wish is a longer cord

Strengths: good detection and great voice

Weakness: none

It has the correct signal alert. Everytime when a emergency vehicle approach, it will have a accurate and fast alert. Also, the display and the voice alert are accurate too.

Strengths: Less fault alert in city mode, good detection signal, very accurate, settings can be saved, easy manual/operate, have voice alert,compared to high speeding ticket, worth to buy.

Weakness: Not found yet

This is my first radar detecter. It is very easy to use. And alert is quite accurate. One of the most important feature of this radar detector is that it has the voice alert. You can not keep your eyes on the display when you drive. A reliable, accurate, and conventient device is needed. Recommend to buy.

Excellent radar

Strengths: Had it for 2 weeks. Able to detect police radars from a far away distance. Gives you enough time to decelerate and save yourself a ticket. Voice alert excellent, volume adjustment works great.

Weakness: This is my own experience: on my way to work there are many trains, and the alarm detects them and gives you a warning. First time is: yeahh!.. then every morning.... is kind of bothersome!

I highly recommend this radar! It is great for the money. You have beeping sounds, voice alerts, light display, detects: police RADAR, trains, ambulances, etc....
Works great in city and near houses.!
Gives you more confidence on the highway.
Goes like this: "me" Driving in highway... suddenly BEEP "warning", I slow down... 4 seconds later. I see the police car on the shoulder.. then I see police car on rear view mirror... police car did not move. Yeah!

Advice: Notice that it does NOT detect police cars but its RADAR, so be wise when using it. If a police car has his radar OFF, Obviously it wont detect it, so still, use it wisely, and always be on the lookout for those red&blue lights on the roof.

XRS 9400CS - 11-Band Radar/360 Laser Detector with...

Strengths: Voice and tones are loud and clear. Display is bright. Good detection range

Weakness: Power cord is too short/tight. Mounting system is weak, unit bounces.

Good price and good product. Detection range is good and the display and audio are better than some other detectors I've had. The mounting system needs reworked and the power cord needs to be longer or have looser curls. Remember....it is a radar detector, not a cop detector.
