Omnimount Flat Panel Cantilever Mount

Strengths: very versatile

Weakness: heavy

This is one of the best wall mount I ever installed in my home. The articulating design is the most useful because you can move the TV away from the wall to get to the cabling / wiring and clean behind the unit.

OMNIMOUNT FPCL Large Cantilever Mount

Strengths: Very sleek, finished look to the mount

Weakness: None at this juncture.

The heavy weight of the material used in manufacturing the product makes one feel as though the flat screen is safe and secure. There are more than enough materials provided in kit to accomplish the installation. Patience is needed and should be used to install Flat Screen to the mount. Recommend using three people as the absolute minimum to install Flat Screen to the mount. The more hands you get to assist, the easier the job will go. Very happy with the completed product. Will definately buy another in the future.

Omnimount Flat Panel Cantilever Mount

Strengths: Heavy duty mount, secure. Extends further than any mount I could find that fit my LCD. Great buy. This mount does the trick. Looks great.

Weakness: A little clunky, but folds in very nicely.

I bought this mount for the kitchen I went with an Ominmount because that's what I have used in the past and have been happy with the performance. If you need a mount that is very functional and don't want to pay an arm & leg for something more compact, this mount is it. Works great and is very adjustable.

Product does not fully support my 37

Strengths: Installation was fairly easy. The mounting bracket fit my large 37" LCD ViewSonic monitor.

Weakness: Mount sags to the side with large monitor attached, at least when mount is at full extension from the wall.

The mount cannot completely support at TV as large as the one I have (37" ViewSonic LCD, ~60 pounds) when it is extended a full 20" from the wall it's mounted on. It sags to whichever side the monitor is oriented. In our case, the mount is firmly screwed into the stud/masonry...the sagging is in the mount itself. For our purposes this is okay because the mount was needed simply to allow the screen to be tilted downward. (I put wood block supports under the TV to keep it level.) If you have a large TV that needs to be far from the mounting surface, you'll probably want a stronger, probably dual-stud mount.

Omnimount FPCL

Strengths: Well planned product, all screws, spacers, hex wrench's packaged seperatly and labeled. Well written, easy to understand instructions. Heavy duty construction!

Weakness: NONE!

Awesome product! Ordered from Buy.Com, received the newest version (with adapter plate attached). Comes with all necessary mounting screws & spacers for VESA 50 to 200x200 compliant mounting. Heavy duty construction (about 18 lbs.) plus will hold up to +/-60 lb TV. Would suggest that you reinforce the mounting location with extra 2x4's!

Very satisfied

Strengths: High quality product, everything exactly as advertised

Weakness: None

I used it to mount a 32 inch Sony LCD and it worked great. It came with a large selection of hardware that included everything needed to mount my TV model.

wrong description, it's actually a medium mount

Strengths: n/a

Weakness: 1. wrong item description 2. single beam mounting

my rating doesn't apply to the quality of the product, which might be good, but to the fact that it's wrongly described by Pricegrabber. Correct title is "Medium Cantilever Mount" - this is what you'll see printed on the box if you order this mount. Large mount is a different product and costs more

quite the solid wall mount

Strengths: sturdy construction, cantilever arm makes pretty much all viewing angles possible, makes it easy to get behind the tv for either cable switching or cleaning

Weakness: none yet

This is a fantastic wall mount; I have a 32" LCD on the wall with this mount and it's great to move the TV in all different directions. I would definitely suggest getting this for your TVs--it's a great buy.
