Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Excellent online play through XBox Live! The maps are more open than the original Rainbow Six 3 for XBox.

Weakness: Graphics are good but are somewhat outdated compared to the likes of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Chronicles of Riddick, etc.

I recommend this game to any fan of the typical high quality XBox Tom Clancy games. I HIGHLY recommend this game for those who have XBox Live. The single player campaign is good, however, the true reason to own this game is for the XBox Live online play.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Graphics, sound, gameplay, Xbox live, newly included splitscreen for Xbox users

Weakness: Very similar to Rainbow Six 3, it’s predecessor

Rainbow six 3 was already a great game by itself. Now, it’s expansion pack, adds new maps, weaponry, and for Xbox users, the ability to play split screen with a friend.

The graphics in this game are impressive. The sound effects are also very good and the weaponry is more balanced with the removal of the 50-cal. Of course, the Xbox live online play is phenomenal with many choices of games to choose from (team-based or deathmatch).

The only gripe that one may have with this game is it is that most of the elements are similar to Rainbow Six 3. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as its prequel is also a great game. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Obviously the Ubisoft build quality and the general experience of the Tom Clancy line of games-- --new addition of different single player game types (Lone Rush)

Weakness: I don't have Live--so I might be missing that experience, but overall I don't think the game is lacking in any areas

First of all, what I'm about to say may be considered sacrilege, but I'm not a huge fan of Halo--I may be overlooking the excellent graphics or unique storyline(?) but to me--shooting real guns at real bad guys is where it's at. Equip whatever you want from an M4gery to a .50 cal Desert Eagle--(if you have trouble hitting the broad side of a barn then this is the weapon for you)-then you take you team through a variety of missions, up against a multitude of threats. Like other reviewers I recommend anyone at all intrigued by Raven Shield should own this game. I don't have Xbox live, but I still think the game has signficant replay value. For instance after you beat the mission mode, you can return to a level to play a modified version called terrorist hunt--same redition as in Raven Shield--unadulterated shooting--no hostages here. What's more, in Black Arrow you can play the new Lone Rush mode--here you individually try to make it through a single level--but here's the catch: It's timed. Every terrorist you kill adds to your clock--so do bombs you defuse along the way--all in an effort to get in and get out as quickly as possible taking out bad guys along the way. Ubisoft has continued a tradition of excellence in this one--and you won't be sorry for giving it a shot!

Rainbow Six- Black Arrow

Strengths: good graphics, xbox live

Weakness: single player can be difficult

A decent, addicting Tom Clancy shooter. The single player mode at times can be difficult but it has a coop muliplayer mode so you can play the levels with others. The levels takes place in the Meditarrean and Eastern Europe.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Excellent online play, nice graphics, good single-player play as well

Weakness: None

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow is the second Rainbow Six game on the Xbox. This game is a tactical first-person shooter where you and your squadmates must take out terrorist agents. They have improved the single player mode this time around and it is enjoyable to command your squad and figure out the best way to get through each level. You can even play splitscreen co-op this time around.

Online play is where the majority of this game lies though. The multiplayer matches are intense and the levels are laid out in a way that makes them extremely enjoyable to move around. As always, there's a nice selection of weapons to choose from. For a tactical online shooter, you really can't do much better than Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow.

Rainbow Six 3 : Black Arrow ---Must Have---

Strengths: Good graphics, great storyline single player mode, xbox live play, price

Weakness: None

This game looks GREAT! The teams behind these Tom Clancy games have their stuff together and it shows with Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow. You actually feel like you are part of this elite squad. Good storyline with lots of objectives and “killings” of bad guys. The best feature of the game (there are a lot) would have to be the XBOX Live. I recommend this for all gamers who like to play multiplayer games on XBOX Live. It will become a favorite plus you can't beat the price.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: There is NOTHING better on XBOX Live

Weakness: None

This game and Rainbow Six 3 are THE BEST Xbox live multiplayer games ever made. I put 100s and 100s of hours into both of them. If you have the original, this game is STILL worth the 40 bucks for the new levels and such. The guns are better, they took the cheap 50 cal sniper rifle out. You will enjoy this game on LIVE--I GUARANTEE it.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Cool game, good graphic

Weakness: N/A

This was a really good and fun tactical game. The fact that you can use your team and breech two doors to the same room is a great way to gain the upperhand on whos inside that room. The guns are pretty good and their is a big variety to choose from. Recommed to anyone.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Excellent game play, graphics, and sound. Great online play.

Weakness: Artificial Intelligence is occasionally stupid.

This is another great Tom Clancy game. You control an anti-terrorist team that is armed with some really great weapons. The action is usually realistic with the enemies and team mates occasionally making stupid decisions. The online play with XBox Live is great.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Strengths: Nice graphical upgrade from Raven Shield, takes advantage of XBL 3.0 features, additional gameplay modes, better and longer missions

Weakness: None apparent

Rainbow Six 3 goes through a nice upgrade from Raven Shield to Black Arrow.

The graphics engine gets a nice upgrade with Black Arrow, nothing massive, but some nice touches. The level design gets quite a bit of an upgrade, with numerous new maps, all of which are intelligently designed.

The multiplayer is massively upgraded, with new features from XBox Live 3.0, such as clans, which adds immensely to the online experience. New modes have been added to the online play, with new maps as well. Without XBox Live, Black Arrow is a great game, though with it and all the new bits with XBL 3.0, it makes it an amazing game.

Anyone who's picked up Raven Shield should go get Black Arrow without question. First person shooter fans should also pick it up without question. Having not played Raven Shield will only have gaps in the storyline, but not miss any of the action.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Oh, where has all my weekends and late evenings gone? What has dominated my thoughts with frag grenades and made me dream of tactical team-based maneuvers? This is basically the questions this reviewer asked when Rainbow Six 3 was released on the Xbox and thanks to its highly addictive Xbox Live mode. It can be arguably said that this is by far the best Xbox Live game around--well, until Halo 2...
