It's OK

Strengths: Stylish; compact; rechargeable batteries included.

Weakness: drops signal often for seemingly no reason; distortion.

When you're standing right in front of the base the sound quality is great. But why get wireless headphones if you're not going to be moving around, right? I got them mainly to listen while cutting the grass and so far it's passing--barely, though. It's a little annoying when it cuts out for a second or two but I may be pushing the range when outside. It's also loss the signal while in the house on a different floor. I'm OK with it basically because it was a great price and it's better than what I had before (which was nothing).

Bad Wrap!

Strengths: Cheap Very good range Light

Weakness: AutoTuning diminished signal consistency Material quality diminished after about a year.

This is my second pair of RCA headphones. The first set, the 150, was also very impressive. The affordability of these headphones on-line is about 60% better than found in stores. These are decent headphones if you are patient.
The recharge time on these batteries is about one hour. Also, the batteries can be used like regular AAA batteries.
Autotuning takes its toll on signal consistency. I work in a job where I move away from my desk often and the autotuning seeks an additional signal without needing to. Further, the adjustment mechanisms are not made of thick plastic so be careful.
All-in-all, a good product for a great price. I'd recommend to any music lover.

RCA 900MHz Wireless Headphones

Strengths: Brand-Name

Weakness: Unreliable components

I have had three of these units, two of which died after just a few weeks. They were returned to the RCA repair station which took them months to replace the units. The fault lies with the powered transmiiter/relay and not the headphones. The transmitter/relay unit shuts off after just a few minutes, regardless whether there is sound coming from the TV. The resulting 'roar' through the hgeadset is very painful.

Pieces of Junk

Strengths: Have survived repeated chucks across the living room.

Weakness: Reception, noise, comfort, and reception again.

These things are terrible. I sit 10 feet away from the transmitter in direct line of sight and there is hissing, whistling and other noises that sound like I’m tuning a radio from the 30’s. And then if that’s not enough, if I turn my head just so, it cuts out completely. I can’t tell you how many punch lines I’ve missed wearing these pieces of junk.
