Great for printing checks
Strengths: Rock solid machine
Weakness: Not the smallest B&W laser printer
I've found this to be the most reliable and economical B&W laser printer which I use for everything from printing documents to shipping labels.
Found a way to lower the cost-per-page dramatically and be able to print bankable checks. Website at checksnet.com offers MICR toner cartridges that are filled to maximum capacity with the darker MICR toner. This which makes the cost-per-page much lower because I can print documents at the 2 or 3 darkness setting. Also lets me make checks that are readable at banks and retail stores.
