Excellent CD changerStrengths: Clean sound, quiet, smooth mechanism Weakness: No file memory to store selected tracks on over 5 disks My choices were limited to depth of the player. Basic, Reliable CD Player
Strengths: reliable operation, simple to use, JVC brand reputation
Weakness: large chassis, Bose remote does not operate the CD player
I initially purchased a Sony CD player with similar specs, but the remote control couldn't turn the CD player on or off!
So since I have had a great experience with my JVC DVD player, I figured it can't hurt to go with a JVC CD player. Only problem is that my Bose remote control will not control this device (or I just haven't tried the right code with the right angle of the IR emitter).
This CD player is perfect for those who want the basic standard in CD players. It plays up to 5 discs, you can add and remove discs while one is playing, and if you really cared to program tracks, you could. I perfer to simply load and let go, so that's why this unit is perfect.
If I have any problems in the future, especially with the mechanical aspect of the machine, I will certainly post an update. So far, so good.
