Blue Ant X5 Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

Excellent value! I tried using the annoying ear buds that I bought from Cingular Wireless for use with my Samsung Synch Phone/MP3 player & found them completely useless. The Blue Ant X5 Bluetooth wireless set was perfect. Great sound quality, with super easy volume adjustment, easy set up, and plenty of connectivity options included at no extra cost. No regrets about this purchase. Highly recommended!

Blue Ant X5 Bluetooth Headphones

Strengths: Easy to read instructions, sleek and stylish

Weakness: Scared to man-handle them as they may break; sound quality is lacking

Unlike other bluetooth headphones this one comes with everything and then some. I like the fact that you have two easily removable re-chargable batteries for the headset and the audio streamer device. Set up is easy, I was able to pair the device with my Blackberry Pearl without any problems at all. The Blackberry was able to find the headphones immediately. Pairing between the headphones and the audio streamer went without any issues as well. I was able to get a good 20 feet from the base unit and not a problem. The downfall of this product would be the sound reproduction. I have tried every combination I can tweaking the equalizer on Winamp and no luck. Forget mids and lows, this is all highs. To their credit the reproduction of the highs is clear and crisp but everything else across the band sounds tinny. Now they do state on their product description that they provide CD quality sound and high quality voice and I will give them credit there because that is true to what they advertise. Don't expect to buy these to replace your studio headphones because you won't be happy. For work though I can live with it. A shame too because these are really nice.

Nice set of Headphones

Strengths: Nice look Nice sound quality Audio streamer included Intuitive controls/buttons USB PC charger

Weakness: Neckband design Poor phone headset at higher volumes Hard to put on sometimes

This is my first set of stereo Bluetooth headphones.
The sound quality is very good, even at a very high volume. Looks as well as sounds. The package includes a rich set of cables, chargers, and connection options. Easily makes a set for VoIP or a cellphone with the detachable microphone.
Although this set looks cool, the neckband design is a complete failure. The speakers are attached hard into the band, and cannot rotate with respect to the band. This makes my ears hurt. The headband is totally made out of plastic, and no foam or rubber is attached (even around the ears). Also, it would be nice to have an option to detach one speaker from the other somehow. The caller noticed that I was talking trough a headset, because he could hear himself in the phone.
Overall nice, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Love the streamer (makes any device, with a headphone jack, Bluetooth), but hate the uncomfortable neckband.

Bluetooth Great; Comfort & Sound Not So Great

Strengths: Blue tooth works well & is simple to set up

Weakness: Uncomfortable, poor bass

Well, these bluetooth phones work as advertised. Good range if you don't stray too far.
They come with leather & foam earpiece covers and both are quite uncomfortable.
The phones are also mediocre sounding at best and very bass shy.
Close but no cigar.

Great Buy!

Strengths: Light weight. Swappable batteries, and great sound.

Weakness: It's a little pricey originally but if you found a great deal on eBay like me, it's definitely the best.

Very comfortable to wear for a long time. Been using it with iPhone 3G and I can control the music from it with no issue of any kind. I tried a few different similar Bluetooth headsets and so far this is the best one I've got. Even got one for my girlfriend and another for my buddy's birthday!

Great headphones

Strengths: -easy to pair with most devices -great features -abundance of extras packaged with product -great range

Weakness: -sometimes hard to pair with audio streamer

The sound quality is excellent and the range of connection is great. I live in approximately 2800sq. ft house and the headset works in all areas of house. Have had some difficulty in reconnecting with audio streamer after disconnecting. The manual says that the headset and streamer should connect automatically after initial pairing. I have not seen this happen yet, but once I re-pair them, they work flawlessly. I will read the instructions again to ensure I am doing this correctly.

Great bluetooth headphones at a great price

Strengths: Excellent sound quality, easy to use. Comes with extra device that allows anything with a headphone jack to work with it.

Weakness: Headband seems a little flimsy but have not experienced any problems.

This bluetooth headphone produces excellent sound quality for music and phone calls. The controls are available right on the headphone itself. You can change the volume and play and pause using these controls.

The batteries of the headphone and the extra device are interchangeable. So if you are not using the extra device, you can use its battery when the headphone battery runs out.

X5 Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

Strengths: Multiple features and options come standard in this package

Weakness: Uncomfortable headset over long period of time but bearable

This bluetooth headset permits both usage from a cell phone and a PC or IPOD-type device with standard headphone jack. It has two batteries to allow you to charge one and use one. A great device.

Great Headphones

Strengths: Compact and light comes with voice/audio streamer that can plug into a laptop without built in bluetooth, can be used with VOIP software, sound is very clear and no cord,

Weakness: sound quality is decent but lows and hi's can be a bit more distinct but I won't expect studio sound quality from a wireless device.

Great value, good sound quality, easy to use, easy to pair up with the streamer I have not used them with the cell phone yet. They are well worth $90 that I paid for them
