Weakness: If you do alot of black and white coping, or printing, I think the ink goes fast. This cartridge gives you the quality and dependabliity you have come to expect from HP. I ordered online utilizing pricegrabbers and databazaar, and got a great price, excellent shipping time, and that great HP quality. The original OEM inkjet and toner cartridges always have a better print quality than the generics, but this quality as is typical with most items comes at a higher price. HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 15 Black Ink CartridgeStrengths: Put it in printer and it seems to work fine. Weakness: No upc on cartridge. Refurb from omnipro. This ink cartridge for the DeskJet 845c and worked fine so far. It looks exactly like the original and in fact looks to be an original with a different label on it. Fit and function work fine. The price was right and free shipping to boot from Omnipro computer & office supplies which I fount by using Pricergrabber.com. Buy if you want consistency in print quality and...Strengths: Provides consistent and quality printing Weakness: Cost I started using generic cartridges because of price but they could not provide the consistency in print quality and the amount of ink in the cartridge. Trust The Genuine ArticleStrengths: HP brand quality and consistency Weakness: not manufactured in the U.S.A. The price difference between the genuine HP brand cartridge and a remanufactured or generic brand is not even an issue with me. (Familiarize yourself with a price-comparison shopping site if you haven't already done so.) When you're on deadline and absolutely positively have to get your print job done now, you have to be able to rely on both your printer and your ink cartridge especially if you don't have a 24-hour Kinko's right around the corner. I've never had one fail or dry up, but I use my printer regularly. I don't know how long you could let it sit in a printer unused, but two week gaps have not been a problem. Strengths: HP quality means peace of mind that you have a reliable product
Weakness: price
It's not like you have a lot of choice, either you buy the HP brand refill or you buy a copy that's been refilled. For me, I didn't want to take a chance on the quality of the things I want to print so I stuck with the HP brand.
Here is one bit of advice - make sure when you buy a refill cartridge that the quantity of ink hasn't been reduced. It should be 25 ml. I have read that some people have been tricked with smaller quantities of ink. It's the same size cartridge, but just has less ink in it. This was a big factor for me to stick with the HP brand, because how can you trust a no-name brand to give you the right quantity? You can't exactly check it yourself.
Anyway, I received my HP ink refill cartridge I bought from Future Computers and I have no complaints. The ink works great, it installed easily, and the quality is great.
