Panasonic CQ-C3300U Car Audio Player

Strengths: Great Deal - Nice Value Deck with AM/FM, CD,MP3 & WMA. Solid feel & construction. Nice to have volume knob instead of buttons.

Weakness: In city driving, radio stations OK, reception could be better. Volume range 1-40, default at 18, at lower range not much volume unless you add amp.

This is a good buy -- $139 at Crutchfield. I compared the Panasonic to others brands (Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.), and this is the best value MP3/WMA unit on the market. In my opinion, the Alpine sounded better but cost about $100 more. I installed the Panasonic into my 2002 Pathfinder with new Infinity speakers (replacing the factory Bose system), sounds 100% better than the Bose. This is a basic unit with detachable face and most of the normal features. So far no problems. I would buy again.

Panasonic CD/MP3 player CQC3300U

Strengths: The sound quality is great.

Weakness: It is not as good looking as Sony's CD players. Display light is weak and dim under the sunlight.

I love it so far and recommend it. It is easy to handle w/ the remote control. The scan disc function is useful for me. Flip-down plate is cool. When it first installed, I immediately can hear the difference from my vehicle manufacturer's CD player. This new one sounds much much better. It reads MP3 and WMV format so that I can burn my songs on the computer and play it on the road. It is one of the main reason I bought this one.
