Good GameStrengths: The franchise play Weakness: Graphics Very similar to Madden 06, but I still like it. I like the fact that you can save the college football season and transfer it onto the Madden franchise. I like the highlight stick, which allows you to do cool moves with your running back. Same old stuffStrengths: Excellent online mode, Good graphics for X-box Weakness: Forced Quarterback view in online modes, Quarterback view. I really wanted to like this game but it was just okay because of it's faults. I really, really hate the Quarterback view crap. It's pointless and it makes the game needlessly harder. The new lead blocker feature is alright but some adjustment can be made. Madden NFL 07Strengths: none Weakness: Defense Play in 07 is great, everything feels right and controls are easy to pick up. My friend who played madden for the first time actually did pretty good because he used the new "Ask Madden" and "Ask Coach" features that helps you in picking the plays. The only problem I have with the gameplay is playing as a defensive linemen, it really never seems as if you can get to the QB and your spin and power controls are on the top buttons which is stupid placement. Madden NFL 07 (Xbox)Strengths: Strong Gameplay, sound updated, better superstar mode Weakness: Sloppy AI, Same old same old, no real improvements in graphic detail Yeah sure, you could be happy that Madden is still a very strong leader in the NFL games, but you can't be happy none to bit with this game. Everything looks the same except for a few minor visual upgrades, and a better sound quality and production. Other than that this game is pretty much just like Madden NFL 06. Sure they have the updated rosters and some teams still suck as bad as they have ever since Madden has come out. I'd Buy That for a Dollar!Strengths: Solid gameplay with plenty of depth; cheap Weakness: Outdated Like most Xbox sports games these days, Madden NFL 07 can be had for just pennies. My copy cost me 171 pennies, to be exact. Some may even say I overpaid! While it may not be the best or most current football game around, it'll do just fine for undiscerning Xbox gamers. The gameplay is fun enough, and the presentation is what you would expect from a last-generation Madden Xbox title. Overall, it's a good buy for a mere pittance. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Great Madden
Strengths: Fun Gameplay
Weakness: Too much of the same as last year
Madden 07 is another great madden game but it is very similar to last year's version. The addition of Lead Blocker is nice but it doesn't make up for having the same exact franchise mode again, old graphics, and some additional animations. Obviously a very fun game but it might not have the lasting appeal anymore.
