Great tool for around the house

Strengths: Lightweight cordless tool

Weakness: none

This is a pretty neat dremel tool! It fits well in my hand, and if you only use it for a couple of minutes, it doesn't get too warm. It comes with lots of accessory bits and a charging stand. Fits nicely just about anywhere, and it's handy to grab for a quick job around the house.

Awesome Cordless Tool

Strengths: Charges quickly, lots of accessories, good run time.

Weakness: Battery not removable.

I'm very impressed with this Dremel. I bought it and a Dremel Duo so I would have a second Dremel if I didn't want to wait for one to charge. The run time is very good though. I used one on and off for more than an hour (a couple minutes at a time) on some mortar/tile grout, and never had to recharge. Very nice in the hand, and it didn't vibrate too much.

Pretty good for light duty,

Strengths: Lithium battery retains charge for long time. Decent power for its size. Good ergonomics.

Weakness: Power button and the lock button ergonomically difficult. Charging time slightly long. Battery not removable.

Dremels can be used to cut even metals but if you buy this for those purposes you will be disapponted. This model is intended for light duty work so anyone purchasing it should firmly keep that in mind. That said, it works great for all around light duty Dremel work. Ergonomic grip fits well and has some weight to make it feel solid. I dont like the power button - it's small and not protruding enough so you don't really get a definite sense of turning it on. Similarly for the lock button it's hard to push on it as it is too flush with the body.

The battery is lithium so the biggest advantage is that it will hold its charge for long time even if you dont use it. The charging time I think could have been made shorter like 30 minutes since many new Lithium systems do this quick charging. Or make the battery REMOVABLE. Since with this model you have to stop all your work and wait while it charges, the shorter the charging the better, or a removable battery system would solve this.

Handy tool for many uses

Strengths: Stylus is to handle than typical dremel style. Cordless. Lithium-ion battery. Charging dock

Weakness: None so far

I use this tool primary to engrave my signature on the work piece that I make. They are typically wood. I had hard time with typical dremel. It was somewhat awkward to hold. The stylus design is so much easier to hold for my type of work. It actually feels like using a pencil, giving a better result.
I like charging dock. I can hide all the cords under my work table. I can't make any comment about the battery life. I typically use it less than 3 mins. I found in other reviews that the battery last really long. Other reviewer may have got a bad copy.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

WEAK

Strengths: cordless, thats it boys and girls

Weakness: battery full charge lasts 5 mins,

Do your self a favor and get one with a cord, motor is weak on the stylus. This would be good for building plastic models for kids or verry light duty.
