It works great! My teeth love it!This is actually my second unit...one for me and one for my wife. It doesn't even compare to regular brushing. It cleans your teeth so much better! Try it! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Good productStrengths: cleans your teeth very well. Weakness: bulky for traveling. My teeth are worth the money. Consumer Reports say these are the best toothbrushes. Big difference from the normal brush. I may not take it on trips, specially to places where the voltage is different (The chager will fry). Funny cause Phillips is from the EU. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

HX4101 Advance 4100 Sonic ToothbrushStrengths: Compatible with the standard brush heads. Weakness: Does not have the 30 sec interval timer, only the two minute overall timer. I bought this to replace my old unit that finally quit after several years of use. The old one had been getting weak and I didn't realize it until I got this new one. It is much stronger and my teeth feel cleaner. I had a bunch of replacement brushes so I didn't want to go to one of the newer models because the brush heads are not compatible. I just miss the 30 sec interval timer which this particular model does not have. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great toothbrushStrengths: Feels wondeful and already see great results in less then 2 months. This is a wonderful toothbrush and it makes you mouth feel so nice and clean. It gets your gums in excellent shape at the same time. Would recommend this product to everyone. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

HX 4101 Sonicare Advance 4100 Sonic Toothbrush
Strengths: Ease of use
Weakness: Length of time to recharge. As the unit ages, recharge time
SoniCare is a great electric toothbrush. The 2 minute timer, with its 30
second interval beeper, provides an adequate brush time for top and
bottom, front and back brushing. The unit provides a flashing light
(dim) within the turn-on button when a recharge is needed. When new, the
unit provides greater than a week between recharges when one brushes
once per day. As the unit ages, the time interval between recharge
shrinks. Near the end of battery life - approximately four years - the
two minute brush cycle often is cut short. It was at this point that I
replaced the unit - replacement of battery is expensive.
Finally, a comment on the manufacturer's dental health claims. The unit
does improve gum health with regular use, but it does not help with
improving what dentist refer to as "deep pockets" below the gum line. My
dentist continues to recommend that I submit to surgery to correct
my ongoing "deep pocket" issues. Regular twice yearly cleanings are still
recommended with the use of the SoniCare electric toothbrush.
