Wilson Wireless Dual Band AmplifierStrengths: Improves weak signals in urban areas. Weakness: Does not work well in rural areas. This unit works well on weak signals that would normally would be difficult to use but does not work as well as direct connect models in rural areas. If one desires better reception in rural areas they should get a direct connect model. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? TopCompare PricesAdvertisement

WILSON MOBILE WIRELESS DUAL AMP
Strengths: I WOULD RATE IT AS GOOD, BUT IT IS THE ONLY AMP I HAVE EVER USED, DEFINATELY WORKS BETTER WITH IT, BEFORE I COULD NOT MAKE CALLS FROM MY HOME, NOW I CAN, IT AT LEAST DOUBLES THE SIGNAL STRENGTH, MAYBE TRIPLES AT TIMES
Weakness: YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CLOSE TO THE INSIDE ANT. TO PICK UP THE SIGNAL, SOMEONE SAID YOU COULD BE UP TO 50 FEET AWAY FROM IT, BUT I THINK IT IS MORE LIKE A COUPLE FEET AWAY
THIS WIRELESS MODEL LETS YOU USE ANY CELL PHONE OR 2 OR 3 AT A VERY SAME TIME. IT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE OF MAKING THE CALL AND KEEPING IT OR NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE THE CALL AT ALL. VERY GOOD ITEM IN WEAK SIGNAL STRENGTH AREAS.
WHAT UPSETS ME THE MOST IS I HAD COVERAGE AS LONG AS IT WAS CELLULAR ONE AND WHEN THEY SOLD OUT TO ALTEL I LOST MY SIGNAL STRENGTH!
