Fujifilm 8x DVD-R Media - 4.7GB - 120mm Standard -...Strengths: compatibility Weakness: little bit expensive than others such as ritek,.... I have a DVD burner for optorite (DD0201). Fuji DVD-R is the best media for DD0201. I also tested several media such as Memorex, TDK, Ritek G03. Fuji showed best results for me. As you know, burning DVD needs around 1 hr. But after burning, if it can not read in your computer or DVD-player, you may be crazy. After burning DVD video, it works so fine in my old Samsung (old non progressive type), new panasonic DVD player (DVD-S55S, DVD-R supported type). In this case, may be the fact that after having them for several weeks, I still have to find a bad one. They all work great, burn fast and are very cheap so good deal. Fuji DVD-R 4.7GB 50PK SPINDLE GENERAL PURPOSEStrengths: Works fine. No coasters after burning 5 DVDs. Weakness: Surface scratches easily but that does affect readability. Finger print marks appear easily on the front surface. The ones I bought are Made In Taiwan. They have burned flawlessly and playable on every DVD player to date. No coasters. Great DVDsStrengths: Error Free - So Far; Nice Spindle Weakness: None Have used these before and these DVDs have so far been without error. Will stick with this brand. The amount of DVDs is good for my use and there is a label on top to write or print onto. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Fujifilm 8x DVD-R Media - 4.7GB - 120mm Standard -...Strengths: Reliable and high quality products. My NEC ND-3500A can write DVD movies at 12x speed. Weakness: None so far. My DVD write has no problem writing data or movies onto these DVD-Rs. I can easily write on the top of the disk with a permanent marker. The disks are perfectly balanced so they don't make much noise when playing in my DVD player. These are just as good as my Memorex 8x DVD-Rs. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Fujifilm 8x DVD-R Media - 4.7GB - 120mm Standard -...Strengths: Burns quickly. Seems to play fine. Weakness: 3 bad discs = coasters. Expecting to probably get a few more bad ones. Still have half. Discs were a bit sticky and seemed to have some leftover residue on the underside (burning side) of the disc. Bought the ones labeled "Made in Japan" from Best Buy, but I must have gotten a bad batch/spindle. The discs had a sticky feeling to them when I tried to take them apart. Plus, when I looked at the underside (burning side) of the disc, I saw silver speckles along the outer part of the disc. I went through the stack of discs and it seems to dissipate towards the middle batch of discs, but then more appears again through the rest of the spindle. The sticky part I was okay with, but it was the speckles on the underside/burning side that worried me. I thought that maybe it was because when the discs were made they were not allowed to dry completely and were piled together into a spindle too quickly. Since the silver speckles look like they came from the top side (label side) of the blank discs each was piled on top of in the spindle. I decided to keep them and give it a try. Ended up with 3 bad discs. The rest came out fine and played okay, but I don't trust this company anymore. I was expecting them to be good just like the Cd-R's and expected the same quality with no coasters (bad discs). Very disappointed in this brand especially since I've tried other brands without any problems and expected the same particularly from Fuji. Have only been using these discs to burn things I don't care for too much. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Fujifilm 8x DVD-R Media - 4.7GB - 120mm Standard -...Strengths: No compatibility issue. Never a coaster. Weakness: price This is my second box of Fuji DVD-R. It works fine w/ my Liteon SOHW8125. Though it's little pricy, it never cause any problem while burning. I'd like to try some cheaper product, but finally decided to buy a good one to protect my burner. Strengths: Good quality
Weakness: More expensive than the analogs from cheap brands
I record my blanks on NEC 8X DVD+RW/-RW Drive, Model ND-2500A. Use data DVD on various DVD-drives and play recorded DVD movies on Daewoo DVD 5800. Use 4x speed for recording. So far, works nice.
