Attractive Machine

Strengths: Great picture, compact, battery built in.

Weakness: Hard to read buttons, easy to scratch screen.

I was very pleased with the screen clarity and size for such a compact player. The battery is impressively part of the machine instead of hanging off the back. The black face adds to the picture's appeal. A substantial list of accessories is included: 2 headphones, a cassette adapter, cigarette light adapter, AC adapter, remote control, AV cables and headrest case.

One great DVD player

Strengths: Accessories, picture and sound quality

Weakness: None

I have been very satisfied with this player thus far. We bought it so that we could take it on a trip with our 2 and 3 year old children. Worked great on the plane - even has two headphone jacks (one on each side of the player). One of the included cables made it easy to plug in to the regular TV in our hotel room, and we used the harness to strap it to the back of the headrest of our rental car. I'm a happy customer!

Most Affordable Portable DVD Player With Winning...

Strengths: - Attractive looks & features. - Bunddle Accessories is so ready-to-go - Good rechargeable battery

Weakness: - Low resolution on jpg images display. - Limited on color available. - LCD Screen is not as good as that of a laptop

This Coby DVD Player is the Most Affordable Portable DVD Player With All Winning Features that Im looking for. It plays most of my DVD & DVD-RW no problem. I originally try to use it as digital picture frame but this feature is not quite works as I expected. It automatically play image CD but stretched to fill the screen & resolution is not as good as computer monitor screen.

great product

for the money its hard to go wrong...screen is very clear, ease of use, looks great, great price! Tons of extra accessaries ie car plug, headphones. Best bet for the money!

TF-DVD7050 DVD PLAYER PORTABLE

Strengths: nice, rigid, design unit..rechargable battery is a plus..

Weakness: no component out..., noisy when disc spin when start or stop.

The unit played flawless, w/ LCD one can watch at pretty much any angle and still watchable...picture is good, and the sound is not too bad for a portable unit...disc spinning kinda noisy when it stated or end but unnoticable during playback...

A Decent protable DVD player

Strengths: Great picture quality, compact size, especially the mounting bag fit the car very well

Weakness: The screen is easy to be scratched. The two headphone is cheap made. Only a/v out.

I am still very happy overall for the player. It basically plays everything I put in. DVD, DVD+R, VCD, mp3. However, the cover for the right speaker pop up in the first week. Although it doesn't affect too much, but I don't feel happy about it.

Effectively Dead On Arrival, maker may fix it

Strengths: Perfect for mounting on back of a car seat; dual headphones

Weakness: My unit just says "Open" and does nothing else

I bought this via BuyItNow on eBay for a very attractive price, but soon learned why. The unit simply says "Open" all the time and does nothing else, despite being securely latched closed. The maker offers a warranty, but excludes auctions and may even exclude BuyItNow.

If the unit had worked properly, it would have been perfect for children who ride in a back seat. The unit actually comes with a headrest mounting bag, and dual headphones.

I am going to give this unit a neutral 3, because I don't know whether many units are broken in this way or not, and I don't know whether the maker will fix it. (The warranty essentially says to send it in at your own shipping expense, and see what they say.)

A wonderfuy solution for your trip

Strengths: Playback functionality; Sound quality through headset;

Weakness: Buzzing noise.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves it. It plays everything. The picture and sound are good for this price range. The sound is loud. One thing bothers me a little bit. It generates some buzzing noise when it plays CD's but I can take it. Overall, it is great.

Strengths: Built-in speakers are good. It can be turned off LCD. It means you can extend the battery time when you listen music or using an external monitor. The headrest mounting bag has been improved.

Weakness: COBY's customer service is not good. Dead after 4 months.

This is my 3rd portable DVD player. The first one was Coby too. It has been broken just after 3 month using. So, you guys who consider it to buy and use in a tough environment, my daughter got it down on table during it played, may need to purchase an extended warranty. However, the custommer service of COBY was poor, they never replied my e-mails and never got my calls.

However, I have to buy another COBY because I gave my niece my 2nd portable DVD player. That was a product of Audiovox. That works perfectly because I never played it on the table again. I only use it in my car.

My opinion on these products is basically "similar products". Similar qualities, similar interfaces, similar functions, and same producing country, China.

The only things you have to consider before buying it, are design and prices. I prefer flat(tablet) style, not fonder style, because I use it in a car.

Strengths: It plays both NTSC and PAL, Cheaper, comes with headphones

Weakness: Screen is sensitive and has some blur

This is great player for the price.It comes with so many items(like head phones, cassete jack etc.)
The screen can be scratched easily as the bag does not have cover for screen.
