We had a rental (hospital grade) pump from Medela before we bought this one. So my wife was able to compare both of them side by side. She says there is no significant difference between the two (in terms of pumping efficiency). In fact, she likes this one better.

It also comes with all the accesories you need (like a car adapter) which can be really useful when you are travelling.

Strengths: Quiet, fast, less pain, good quality, cheaper & more extras given than same grade of Medala pump

Weakness: May need extra caution to clean/handle part (1-2 small part looks breakable), clumsy (uneasy to hold even with 2 hands & can't multi tasking while pumping)

I spent a lot of time researching pumps before I decided to buy. I found this Ameda pump has all the things I need likes multi operate options (ac, car adapter, manual 1 hand convertor & battery) included in package, extras storage bottles, multi suction & cycle options. Only 1 thing I dissatisfy with this pump is it is pretty hard to hold with just 1 hand during pumping but most of the pumps also same except my previous Safety 1st double electric pump but it's noisy, not reliable & dead after 3 months of usage.
