Great Can OpenerStrengths: Simple to use, easy to clean, easy to attach Weakness: Not a permanent fixture This can opener is great. Very easy to attach and simple to use. Works very well. I didn't know how I would like it compared to an entire can opener unit, but am pleased that I purchased this item instead an entirely different unit. If you have a KithchAid, get rid of your can opener and purchase this attachment! Though this is an attachment and not a permanent fixture, it is easy to attach and great to use! KitchenAid Can Opener Attachment
Strengths: Works off the stand mixer.
Weakness: Takes some time to attach it to the stand mixer; doesn't look as nice as the stand-alone electric can openers; high price.
The price is quite high for this attachment, and it doesn't look as nice as the stand-alone ones. Works great, but it does take some time to attach it to the mixer - could have just got a can open with a regular, manual can opener in the same amount of time. I bought it just because it was on sale and I thought it was pretty neat; but on second thought, it is pretty pricey for just a can opener, and now I think my purchase wasn't worth the high price even after a discount.
