Strengths: light weight...quality feel to adjustments...small size...diopter adjustment controls with my vision needs
Weakness: only lens caps on one side of lenses, and will get dusty on ocassion
Had a MUCH more expensive older Panasonic Compact 8 x 21 that my wife misplaced, and the new Olympus appears to be it's equal in all ways + a bit lighter...EXCELLENT VALUE
