Dream LifeStrengths: I think this gmae has many strengths. It's fun, easy to learn, and has good graphics...plus, it's appropriate for kids! Weakness: I don't think it has any I really enjoyed this game. it was easy to leaen, and fun to play...it still is! about the 90-day limit. 90 days takesa long time to do...and when your finished with one person...you just make another!! I LOVE doing creative things...and creating a perosn...designing their room, signing them up for sports...and creating their wardrobe is a great way to have fun! money is easy to make...escpecially when you sign up for a job, and do your chores. you can get trophies from practicing sports...and if you get good grades...your parents in the game will let you buy cool stuff. you have to budget your time wisely...in order to get what you want. you can make friends...and creat your best frined. it's a great game to play! 81% of readers found this review helpful. Why I think the game is good [ ever thow i never...Strengths: that u can create your own life and anything you can not do in real life when your 8 9 10 11 years old! Weakness: that it is $33.35 and that is to much for my old heart and for christmas what about christmas deals? Even thow i never played it it looks cool! Nov 20, 2005 I have daughters, ages 8 and 14. They saw this toy on tv and both told me they saw a cool toy they would like for x-mas. i have been checking it out and bought it at Wal Mart for @ 28.00. i then saw it for a few more dollars at Fleet Farm. I bought it for my 8- year old . They dont get a lot at x-mas. It looks like fun.

Nov 28, 2005 With most "life simulation" games (usually dating simulations), you have a set number of virtual days to accomplish your goals. I have never played this game, but I'm guessing that you get a certain amount of "energy points" each day to use on activities (going to school etc), and when you run out the day ends. After 90 days, the game ends.

Nov 28, 2005 I assume that it's not a one-off game; you can start over with a new file. What Kiki was saying, was that it's extremely difficult to accomplish your set goals in 90 days of virtual playtime. Like Kiki said, I believe that "life simulations" are better left without a deadline: have an infinite playlength for your virtual counterpart.

Dec 12, 2005 My daughter wanted this for her 13th birthday, I was little reluctent to buy it since the box said 8 years and up, but she insisted. She completed the game within a day but continues to replay it. She enjoys it but recommends it to the 8 to 11 year old range. My 8 year old SON has been caught playing it on more than one occasion but would never admit to playing such a girly game. I bought our Dream Life at Walmart for $28. It's great gift for the younger age range.

Dec 12, 2005 PChicken from PA You can only save 2 files. So yes you would only need one system for two kids but if a third child wanted to play they would have to save onto one of the two files. There is only one controller so only one child can play at a time and then save their file.

Jan 2, 2006 Oh well, we have already returned ours. We put fresh batteries in the remote and the station on Christmas day so I didn't even think that the batteries would be dead already. We purchased our from Target. We were going to just exchange it for another one but they were all out of stock. So, we will search somewhere else or buy it on line. Thanks for responding! You can do chores and get $20 (no typo, that's twenty dollars) for WATERING A PLANT! ONE! The only part of the game with several different things to do is the MALL! THE MALL! I was considering buying this game and was horrified to find out it only lasts 90, even though that is a pretty long time, it wasn't worth me buying it for $30. The only downside to this game as far as i can see, w/o having the game is that my 8,12 and 13 yr old daughters want this, now granted this game is fun but i let my daughters shop and go to school (DUH!) why would it been any more fun in this game?? I guess it is like a video game!! Anyways thanks for the comments! Keep um coming :)

Fun, yet repititiousStrengths: Easy to play, you don't need an expensive game console, pretty fun. Weakness: Repititious, limited involvement' expensive [as I've heard] My cousin got the game for Xmas, and I played it because everything else around the house was being used. In complete honesty, that's all it's really good for. Not that I hate it, but after a while, you're doing basically the same thing each day. You get more money doing a chore than having a job. (Other than a tutoring for $55, the highest I think I've seen was babysitting for $25, while you get $40 for sweeping the floor) which is unrealistic. Dances and parties aren't very special, and the mall is pretty much a worthless way to spend money. While it's fun dressing up your girl, it's completely personal, and has no effect on gameplay. There are many places that the creators could've added at least a mini-game for you to actually EARN your money, or how well you are at an activity. It kind of seems like I'm bashing the game, but while it's a fun game, depending on your age, it'll probably be one of those games that you'll WANT to play for a day or two, then you'll only play if your only options are to play Dream Life or take a boredom nap. This game stinks!Strengths: None Weakness: More than I can name. This game stinks! It freezes up constantly, it doesn't have enough battery life (give it a fresh battery and play it for an hour and the batteries will die!) I got this for my birthday, I enjoyed it at first but then it started messing up. (see what I've mentioned.) I wouldn't recommend this product. Stick with a gameboy. AmazingStrengths: The whole game! Except listed below Weakness: Can't visually see yourself doing chores, going to school, ec. And sometimes, if you ask "Are you Taylor's cousin" to like, 4 people, they'll all say yes, but thats a very minor problem. This is a very good game! I enjoy playing it! It will get addicting! i love this game.When i seen it on a commercial i wasn't really interested in it but my 8 year old cousin Catrena has it. she let me have my own slot and i couldn't believe how fun it it was kinda seems like such a little kid game but I'm 13 and i really really really want it for Christmas. If you've never played it before, you should cause it's awesome.
