Excellent coffee maker. Lots of featuresStrengths: Makes a hot pot of coffee fast and it has lots of features that are nice to have like a timer and a clock. Weakness: None so far. Very good coffee maker just purchased it and am impressed with it. This is my first Mr. Coffee product. The glass container is well made. I like that is has two windows so I can see how much water I am putting in on either side of the machine. It also has a non-stick hot plate which is easy to clean. The mechanism that stops the coffee from brewing when brewing is good quality. It makes a really hot pot of coffee pretty fast. Very easy to clean. The lid opens wide so you can pore the water in easy it had a wide opening to pore the water in so it doesn't spill on the counter. One thing I don't like is the short cord it has you have to be quiet close to a plug to use it, or just use an heavy duty extension cord. Lid opens too high
Strengths: Brews the coffee, uses the common paper filters, nice glass pot.
Weakness: The lid opens too high when you need to fill, I have it under the cabinet and when I need to fill I have to move it to the edge of counter.
I have had Mr.Coffees in the past. I chose this one for the price, $30. It heats well, brews well but the lid and brew spout are annoying to me.
