 I don't recommend this coffee maker Strengths: No carafe
Weaknesses: hard to keep clean, easily malfunctions and leaks
Summary: After having this coffee maker a mere 2 months I am disgusted with it's malfunctions and am purchasing a new coffee maker today. The idea of pouring one cup at a time with no carafe was appealing, although I admit to succumbing to the gimmicky factor. Unfortunately, cleaning it to keep from plugging up during the brew process produced no results. The machine does not brew the whole pot so one is left with a resevoir of cold water and 3 or 4 cups of muddy coffee in the holding tank. The programming on/off, timer/clock features are easily messed up and the required 2X on the on button to start brewing is very clumsy. The tank where brewed coffee is held is plastic and stains so badly it looks gross, requiring elbow grease to come clean. This whole system is a gimmick and a waste of money.
