Strengths: Booming Subwoofer, Wired remote with Headphone/Line-in Jacks.

Summary: For anyone looking for a simple 2 speaker + subwoofer sound system, this set is very good. It is certainly powerful and loud, and the sound quality is certainly crisp and clear. Unlike other speaker systems I've had in the past, I find that the wiring is very secure and tight, which means no loose connections or those instances where one speaker has sound and the other one doesn't. Overall, I'm thrilled with this system and I would highly recommend anyone buying it.

Strengths: Nice strong bass, very good and crisp overall sound. Wired controller has a headphone jack.
Weaknesses: Not the best performance when turned up all the way.
Summary: For the cost of these speakers they do deliver really good sound. The bass is strong and the speakers certainly fill a room with sound very well. The controller includes a volume control, bass controll, as well as headphone and line in jacks (and even an M-Port jack for Creative's USB MP3 player).
They would go great in a college dorm. Music sounds great and they look good on a desk. Highly recommended.

Strengths: Excellent sound quality. I think this is the best choice at this price.
Weaknesses: If it had wireless remote contral and were added alt adjusting, It would be perfect.
Summary: 2004-01-18 19:02:15 Actually in most situation when we listen CD or MP3 which only contains 2 sound tracts(Left and Right),the central and the rear speakers only copy and amplify Left and Right sound tract. Therefore if you don't intent to wacth DVD with you computer, this 2.1 speaker system is your best choice. Because the subwoof and front speakers are the same as that of Ceative Inspire T7700.

Strengths: Quality of sound, remote control, earphone jack in remote control, ability to hang speakers on the wall, strong base sound
Weaknesses: Speakers could be a little smaller in size for those with cluttered space
Summary: I've had these speakers for about a month. They deliver very good, clear quality sound with a strong, deep base. The remote control which sits on my desk is a great touch for ease of controlling power (on/off switch), volume and bass level. Since the bass is strong and deep, I need to keep the volume down if not using earphones, BUT, Creative came through with a nice touch by including an earphone jack in the remote to help deal with the volume and strong base situation for those subject to neighbor's wrath. I particularly like the ability of being able to hang speakers on the wall since my desk and shelves are cluttered with books, papers and whatever else finds its way there. All and all, these speakers perform very well and are a great value for the cost which was minimal for the quality of this 2.1 speaker system given several rebates on top of an already reasonable price. I also like the fact that the system is stylish with real wood construction of the subwoofer. I would definitely buy this product again.

Summary: I am very satisfied with this 2.1 speaker system. Great budget speakers for gaming, mp3 listening, and movie watching. Had no problems what so ever thus far.

Strengths: Great price, great sound, well made, has input for Nomad MP3 player on wired remote.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I built my first PC and wanted a low cost, but great sounding speaker system, this filled the bill, sound is as good as any 3pc speaker system I have heard, and better than most, the price is right!

Summary: The speakers look great, with the tweeker also. The subwoofer brings your music alive. I turned the bass up, and found it was better in quality and could give better clear undistorted sound at a high bass, compared to other subwoofers

Strengths: Powerful bass and clear highs.
Weaknesses: Most of the power is in the subwoofer, which needs to be kept low so as not to become overpowering.
Summary: I've been a sound technician for years and this is a superior bang for your buck. The sound improves as the speakers break in. It would be an even better system if the satellite speakers had power matching the thundering woofer.

Summary: these are a great set of speakers for the price. I would recommend them but beware that the bass is really heavy. All you need to have it on is a little bit. Other than that they are a great speaker

Summary: 2004-04-20 15:48:00 Purchased the product after reading positive reviews from other users, and was very pleased upon receipt of product. As others have said the bass should be kept at a low level because it can be very overpowering. The mid range could be a little better, but all together I am pleased with my purchase. Definately would recomend this great sounding set of speakers to anyone.

Summary: Very impressed with the speakers. Guess I'm easily impressed but these are good compared to speakers that cost just as much but are cheap speakers. My next ones will be a surround sound. These are great for overall speakers and great for music alone.

Strengths: Crisp, full soundfield; Ample power; Easy to set-up; Space efficient; Appearance; Price!
Weaknesses: None to speak of, especially at a net cost of $30.00. These speakers would be a bargain at twice this price!
Summary: One of the best values I've found in multimedia purchases made by me over the past 5 years! Much better sound when playing CDs and DVDs than I get from my significantly higher priced micro stero system in the same room. Great design and features found usually in much higher priced multimedia systems. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great sound and great savings!

Summary: Get these from Buy.com and you won't regret it. Ships VERY FAST and the rebate is great. Low price and powerful speakers make a nice deal. Watch out for the bass though. Even though it IS powerful just keep it down low or best enjoyment.

Strengths: 1. The subwoofer is really nice.
2. The price is incredible.
Weaknesses: 1. The wired control is not long enough as a "remote" control.
2. The tweeter is not as good as subwoofer, even it's very good already.
Summary: This is a great 2.1 speaker system. They like attractive and cute. It is also easy to install. This is the best speaker you can get for the price under $50.
