I am used to it now and noise does not bother me that much. I have only had it for a short time but have had no problems. I use it to make smoothies with frozen fruit and they are perfect every time. I made a mistake and did not tighten the bottom at all before mixing one day and when I picked it up, there was smoothie everywhere! Cleanup was very easy because of the design. It is all sort of molded as one piece and I did not have to get smoothie out of lots of tiny crevices. I'm happy with it so far. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. kkolk Member Since: Apr 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 3 Days	Great Blender! Strengths: Chews through whatever I throw in it. Has no problems with ice/etc. Good quality construction. Weaknesses: Occasionally without enough liquid it will create an air pocket down by the blades when blending ice. Summary: Very simple, powerful, reliable blender. No fancy speed settings just a good old fashion simple on and off switch. I know some people complain about how loud it is but it doesn't seem any louder then I'd have expected out of a blender.
