It was under warranty. I spoke to customer service. The only way to get it serviced or replaced was if I paid to ship the defective item to them from Oklahoma to California. I didn't agree with this policy and this was not disclosed on the warranty terms that came with this product. I was transfered to the voicemail box of whom I was told was the company president. I expressed my displeasure and requested a call back. No call back was received. Terrible customer service. Given the cost of shipping a 20-30 pound item over that distance, a person would probably be better off just buying a new wine cooler from a company that stands behind their products. 100% of People (15/15) found this review helpful. During the summer it failed to maintain a 55 degree temperature, I actually had to put freezer packs in it to try to help out. And the last straw, as if that weren't enough, it started to emit a strange electrical type of smell. A total waste of money for me.
