Strengths: Good value
Weaknesses: Interfence
Summary: This phone is a good value, got it for 15 bucks. It does seem to be more succeptible to interference than other 2.4 ghz phones I've owned. But, it's still usuable. Battery life is good.

3 Star ReviewGreat cordless Phone
Strengths: Cheap price and caller-ID display
Weaknesses: No answer machine
Summary: I got this cordless phone from circuit city last thanksgiving holiday. The main function for me is the Caller ID display, however, the sound quality is not very good although it is a 2.4GHz phone. But for the low price, I still think it worth what I paid.

3 Star ReviewUniden EXI4245 Cordless Phone
Strengths: Low Price, Easy to use
Weaknesses: Interference with 802-11b/g wireless router , Only 10 programmable number space .
Summary: This is a decent basic 2.4Ghz phone at a fairly cheap price. The voice quality is ok, very clear screen with caller ID. Don't expect too much. But it has potentially interference with 802-11b/g wireless router. Battery will not last forever.

3 Star ReviewUniden EXI4246 Cordless Phone
Strengths: Low price, very simple to setup and use
Weaknesses: take too long to recharge the battery
Summary: It is a nice phone for basic use. It looks good. The voice quality is ok. Had to move it away from my router to avoid the interference. It takes approximately 8 hours to recharge the battery. Overall, not bad for its low price.

Strengths: The entire unit is small and fits well in the space where I have it located.
Weaknesses: Because it is small the buttons are also small, and you must be careful when punching in the numbers.
Summary: Overall, I think it is a great phone for the price. The battery didn't lose power when I was talking for about 1 hour. I suppose that most people who use a cell phone would not notice how small the buttons are, but I do not have a cell phone. At first I had to be careful because of how close the keys are to each other. I am used to it now, and I would purchase this phone again.

3 Star ReviewUniden
Strengths: Low price
Weaknesses: Basic phone
Summary: Plain Jane. You get what you pay for with this phone - which is not very much.

The phone is decent for basic everyday use. Decent quality and decent functionality.

Interference from my wi-fi network is minimal - which is good and better than I expected.

3 Star ReviewBargain phone that gets the job done
Strengths: can store 30 numbers with the caller ID feature, cheap!, headset capability, easy to use, choose from several different rings
Weaknesses: interference in farthest corner of the house (might be because of wifi)
Summary: I bought this phone for $15.00 at Circuit City and didn't expect anything spectacular at that price, but I was happy to find that there was no learning curve to using every function of the phone and I was storing numbers and making calls without even reading the instructions. I've owned this phone for several weeks now and the only issue I've ever had with it is that in one spot in my house there will be some interference, but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that my wifi router is in the vicinity.

3 Star ReviewBasic phone with average quality
Strengths: Basic and easy to use, cheap after rebate
Weaknesses: 802-11b/g interference, mediocre quality
Summary: 2008-02-08 08:08:24 This is a fairly basic 2.4Ghz phone that can be found at a fairly cheap price. Don't expect too much, and you'll be OK... as long as you don't happen to share the airspace with a conflicting wireless network. (If you do have problems, you can adjust your wireless network channel. Lower channels seem to interfere less.)

In my mind this is a good example of the modern, disposable cordless phone. It works well enough that you will not be disappointed. However, it is not the type of phone that you ever consider replacing the battery in when it dies. It does what is says, but not much more.

In short, if you need a cheap cordless and don't mind potentially playing with your wireless internet channel (or don't have wireless internet at all), pick this up cheap and dispose of it (please recycle) when you are done. If you have high standards for cordless phones, go grab a higher-end model (almost certainly more expensive also).

3 Star ReviewSimple and workable
Strengths: simple and easy to use
Weaknesses: adapter gets a little bit hot; abnormal ringtones
Summary: This is an acceptable gadget for me. It is light and works fine with the calls. As an analog phone, the voice quality is ok. And the buttons are designed for easy access to its limited functions. It can store up to 30 callers.

The only thing I am worried is the power adapter. It gets a little bit hot when the surrounding temperature is cold. I am afraid that in hot summer it might get really hot in here. Hope mine does not belong to the majority (quality). Another thing is the weird ringtones. I hope they find the normal (regular) and acceptable ones.

Strengths: build quality, price/perf.
Weaknesses: static if WiFi network is present
Summary: I got this phone at a really good price at Circuit City, and really liked the design and build quality when I got it out of the box. However, when I started using the phone I was hearing a static noise during calls, so I got myself a DECT Uniden phone. This phone went to my grandparent's house and it seems to work great for them, so it seems like WiFi network was the problem.

3 Star Reviewgreat phone for the price
Strengths: Although you don`t get much phone for the price, its a very decent and basic phone which is good for basic use. Uniden phones are pretty good quality and this phone lives upto that expectation
Weaknesses: Not feature rich.Volume is a little low
Summary: I am happy with this phone since i use it as a basic phone with no frills. Its came at a low price, hence is of good value. Its good looking and has not had any issues so far.

Strengths: Price, features
Weaknesses: Interference from wireless internet
Summary: I didn't expect much from a phone thats free after rebate but its functional and serves its purpose. Although sometimes you get static and interference while talking if you running a 802.11b/g wireless internet network at home. This unit runs on similar frequency and it shouldn't be a problem if you running a pre N or N network. Its a lot cheaper to get another phone then to get a replacement battery in the future.
