1 Star ReviewNot a good choice
Strengths: moderately small size. Intuitive interface. Inexpensive.
Weaknesses: Poor picture quality with unrealistic color. Auto Focus tricky and unreliable. Pictures blurry when using zoom. SHORT battery life. No optical viewfinder (can't take pics in bright daylight).
Summary: Impossible to get this camera to take a picture using the zoom feature without the picture being blurry. Tech support was no help. You need to travel with a pocket full of batteries (@ $40 each) and you might get 100 pics per battery.

The movie mode produces blurry pictures with slurred sound. I returned this camera to the retailer.

1 Star ReviewNot satisfied
Strengths: Portability, small and light
Weaknesses: Blurry camera screen pictures when reviewing. Poor quality pictures. Price does not fit features compared with others.
Summary: Is not a friendly user camera do to the blurry screen, camera menu options are unforgiving, slow response. Slow taking pictures, your not sure if picture was taken. Once picture is focus, zoom does not bring focused picture. Picture seems out of focus or blurry or poor quality screen resolution, no way of telling how the picture will come out.

What a disappointment as a gift.

Strengths: Portability, light, awesome menu options, great picture quality.
Weaknesses: Compared to its price, I can't find any.
Summary: I've always been a Canon lover and we currently have professional Canon camera, that takes great pictures but too big to carry around.

I needed an affordable camera that I can use daily, put it in my purse all the time and I found it!! I've been testing the photo quality and opening them up in photoshop

to check pixels, color quality, and size. I'm a graphic designer and I think It can't be better for $150 camera! color quality is real and good.

It has really fun menu options, it even carries 9 internal fun frames like sticker picture. In the P:Program mode, you can adjust shutter speed, ISO sped upto 400.

It could be like a semi-professional camera and very user friendly I think.

It takes good pictures in a dark room, I can't complain it.

but yes, it could be slow but that's totally forgivable compared to its price.

$150 with 5 mega-pixels + portability? Its the perfect little camera that I was looking for. Voice recording quality is pretty good, and camcorder mode is pretty good as well. It has 2 size options 720x480 (which is a tv size), and the smaller size for internet uploading.

I don't know it it had some bugs last year, but mine's great and today is 6/11/2006.

I noticed that battery was "never seen" type of battery so I was reluctant about it

thinking that I'll return it if I cant find a rechargeable one. But I found it on the

internet.

If you're looking for a great little affordable, portable camera like me,

I definitely recommend it!
