Strengths: 3 phones; able to share address book; intercom mode; audio quality
Weaknesses: Caller ID w/o name doesn't use phonebook.
Summary: I purchased these phones from my local Walmart to add to me phone system at home. I just started using VOIP service and now wanted a phone system that supported caller ID.
These phones work great! Although a bit small and hard to hold up to your head while using your hands for other things (you could use it as a speakerphone), they do perform well otherwise. Audio quality is quite good.
I use these phones in an environment with 802.11g wireless as well as one other 2.4GHz phone and it works w/o a hiccup and isn't impacting my network performance.
Only complaint is that our VOIP provider, although having caller-id, doesn't display the NAME of the caller. Our previous Panasonic phone would look up the name in the addressbook stored in the phone so we at least would see our most common callers. However, this phone doesn't do that and ALWAYS shows "Unknown Caller". If you have Caller ID with name than this wouldn't be an issue.

 DCT646-3 Cordless Phone w/ 3 Handsets Strengths: Expandable, speakerphone
Weaknesses: it is not 5.8ghz
Summary: 2006-08-07 18:59:21 I wish it was 5.8GHz phone. This model(DCT646-3) is 2.4 GHz. When I started using this phone, my wireless internet connection broke up many times because of its 2.4 GHz frequency. Otherwise three handsets were great for my basement, main floor, and second floor. I was able to call within three handsets(intercom). I was able to transfer a call from one handset to the other without leaving the floor. But because of the internet connection disturbances, I replaced this phone with 5.8GHz frequency phone.

Strengths: Good tone quality, room monitoring, small size
Weaknesses: Speakerphone does not work when handset is on charger base, no mute button on front panel.
Summary: This is a great phone set for the price. I bought at local Target for $69.99. I purchased mainly to use the speakerphone but found that speaker phone only works when handset is not on the base. A little dissappointed but no biggie. If you have kids, the room monitor feature is terrific!!

Strengths: I keep my phone next to my computer and it works great.
Weaknesses: Not really sure yet because I have only had it for a few days, but if something happens I will update my posting.
Summary: I purchased this phone based on some of the reviews that I had read. So far I do not have any complaints. I love the fact that I only need to plug the main phone into the wall jack and the rest work off of the main phone.

Strengths: sound quality and battery life
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: The good thing about these phones are they have tons of features and the design is very attactive. The price also very competetive compare with the similar products of other brands. The set up was very use and ready to use immediately.
It has multiple ringtones and speaker phone is very good.
Overall, I am very impressed and happy to recommend to anyone who is planning to buy cordless phones.

Weaknesses: None that I feel mentioning.
Summary: This phone is one of the most advanced I have used. It is small compact and has a lot of features not found in some of the phones that I have owned. This is a great phone at a great price.

Strengths: multiple handsets, share address book, sound qulity, price
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought this set for my new house. I need more than 2 hand sets to put in all my rooms. This set seems perfect. I am planning to buy another set to expand it. they work great and sound good. I have not had any problem using them in my house. There are many new features come with the set. I need some time to figure all those out. But I like the address book. I will recommend this set to anyone in need of a multiple handset phone system.

Strengths: Lots of nice features.Expandable. Caller ID. Quality name in cordless phones.
Weaknesses: Buttons are a little small.
Summary: I bought this set for my new VOIP service and have been satisfied with this set of phones. All the features work fine for my situation and I added one more phone with no problem. Easy to use and like the features like caller ID, 3 way calling and is wall mountable. I have had Uniden cordless phones in the past and trust the quality.

Strengths: Excellent price, sound, quality, battery life, range, etc.
Weaknesses: Small buttons, no mute, some menus not intuitive.
Summary: Very economical - 3 handsets work great. Lots of features and functions. Good speaker sound. Great quality. Good size (not too heavy or bulky). Battery life is also very good (haven't had one die yet!).

Strengths: Quality in craftsmenship! DirectLink compatible!
Weaknesses: No weeknesses seen
Summary: We are very pleased with our phone purchase! The value you receive from this phone set is extraorinary in the over-priced cordless phone market. This set is priced to fit any budget - and YOU GET 3 PHONES!! Comparible systems run twice as much, if not more - and I personally feel this phone (and Uniden) is one of the better available!
Ill give this phone set a 8.5 out of 10!! Definately recommend!

Strengths: Good volume that can be adjusted in the ear peice and speaker phone. Easy to see in the dark with the amber lighted keys and display
Weaknesses: None I have experienced yet!!!
Summary: 2006-03-20 15:54:00 This was a good purchase for the money. I recently signed up for Vonage and liked the fact I could plug the main base unit into the modem and then spread out the rest of the hand sets where ever I wanted.The phones have a good range and after you program your phone book you can copy those to the other phones without having to program each one. Great phones!!!
