Strengths: Price per gigabyte, fast transfer rates
Weaknesses: None so far, though when researching these cards, I did read a couple of users that claimed they died on them, though I am sure any company has its share of defective cards.
Summary: I originally bought a kingston card since I read nothing but good things about them, but I got this Transcend card sent instead. Since I got it on ebay and from China, I decided to try it. I actually have the 120x card. I filled the card up twice with my Nikon D200, and I actually get more shots on this card versus a 80X pro Lexar. It seems to write pretty fast too. I got 200 compressed RAW & basic JPG on my D200. The Lexar got about 193. I can't seem to find many reviews about Transcend, and while I have read mostly positive things, I did read a couple of alarming reviews from someone that said they had one of these die, so I am not real sure about the realibility. I am a bit skiddish on unknown brands as I had a Promaster that corrupted images. Time will tell on that one. They only offer a 5 year warrenty versis a lifetime for some of the others like the Lexars, Sandisks, and even the Kingstons. I hope this card holds up because it is really fast. It seems to be as fast or faster as my pro 80x Lexars.
