Summary: I bought this system to add a home theater experience to my HD television and have not been disappointed. 1000 watts will give you enough power to shake the house, with little sound distortion. Sound quality is excellent, whether watching movies or listening to music. The four slim speaker towers give this system a sleek design that will please the eye. The center speaker is compact enough to allow several placement options. Connecting this system to a DVD player or HDTV via the optical digital inputs is a treat, as the 5.1 Dolby surround sound is just incredible. There are several different sound effect settings that can be used to enhance listening to music or watching TV - i.e., jazz, dance, pop for music, and drama, action, sports for TV. The universal remote is easy to grip and its buttons are laid out in a sensible fashion. Overall, I have been very pleased with my decision to purchase this system, as it is a great value for the money.
