Strengths: The answering machine is nice, with simple features that are easy to use. It's cheap (in price): we didn't want a fancy phone, just something functional
Weaknesses: The reception of the phone rapidly decreased over distance. Clear phone conversations could only be held in the same room as the base unit.
Summary: Great distance well, even though it has to go through several walls.

-Volume control is very nice.*

-Answering machine is simple and intuitive -- I never read directions, but put my response on the machine and have used it for nearly a year without a problem. Also, it has the option of turning it off.

-No big antenna to tear off.

-Caller ID -- it works well with a subscription!

Strengths: Easy to use. Stylish design. Good battery life.
Weaknesses: 2.4GHz, interfere with my wireless network.
Summary: I bought this one because my Vtech 900MHz cordless phone with answering machine is dead. I like this unit at first sight because of the stylish design. This makes it looks very different from other phones. Of cause the best thing is the Uniden quality. I have used this one for 3 month now the battery is still in good shape. The answering machine is much clear than Vtech. The only drawback is I found it interferes with my wireless network. Next time I will get a 5.8GHz one.

3 Star ReviewGood phone
Strengths: funtion, clarity
Weaknesses: single handset, price
Summary: I brought this phone cause I need a phone with answer machine. I always trust the quality of the Uniden brand. And I think this phone prove that again. I like the funtions come with the phone and the build quality of the phone. However, now, I wish I would go with the other models with multiple handsets. I found I need more than one handset in my new house. And the price for one of the multiple handset models is not that much higher than this one.

Strengths: Strong signal quality. Easy customization. Quick setup and intuitive maintenance. Solid build of phone and unit.
Weaknesses: The included belt clip is moderately fragile and prone to breaking - however, most consumers do not even use it.
Summary: Once again, Uniden has provided a quality phone set at a price that's not only economical, but also practical. This set's price weighs in at about the cost of a single cordless phone from other vendors, enhancing the value of the added answering machine.

The signal has always been clear and the phone was set-up and operational within minutes of opening the box. Programming the phone to customize to my needs was simple and effortless.

I highly recommend this product and am very pleased with my decision to purchase it.

Strengths: multifunction
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: When I bought this, I thought this is 5.8 GHz but it turned out to be a good phone. This phone has answering machine feature and the sound quality is OK. The reception is pretty good and I can use it even outside my house. This is a budget phone with many features.

Strengths: Great range, went almost two blocks away and still had a good reception
Weaknesses: Buttons are a little bit sticky, need to be pressed hard
Summary: This phone is a little gem, has a great range. The base station is a bit large for my taste, but it does all it promises. It is a perfect entry level phone. The sound can be a little bit noise at time, but not too bad compared to other phones in the same price range
