Summary: 2007-10-29 12:05:57 I love Krups products. This carafe goes with a timer coffee machine. Must handle with care easily cracked against sides of sink. It fits it well, is easy to clean (I prefer to handwash), and makes measuring the water for the coffee maker easy to do! Weaknesses: None. This product is exactly what you need if you have this model coffee maker. Summary: This carafe is perfect for the Krups 453 model 12-pot coffee maker that I have. It was bought as a replacement for one that I broke, when I was rinsing it in the sink after washing it. You have to be careful, since it is glass, and tapping it too hard against a hard sink could break it, so use and clean carefully! I wouldn't dishwash it since it may hit against something else in the dishwasher, but perhaps the manufacturer says that it's okay to dishwash...I'm just not sure about that though. Anyhow, the shipping from this website was really fast, and I got the product 1 week after ordering it. The UPS tracking was great too. Was this review helpful or unhelpful for you? Summary: Krups has always had a high-quality coffee makers and I especially have been pleased with the carafe--it's capacity holds over 12 cups and the handle makes it easy to pour even if the pot is full. It also cleans up beautifully and is easy to scrub the coffee scum because of the wide mouth. Overall, great product--I just wonder why the first one broke...
